  1. And that is the problem with UND athletics right now. Winning is optional.
  2. You can say the same thing about most of the schools in the NCHC. That is why I hope we never leave.
  3. Another PK coming up.
  4. This could snowball quickly.
  5. The last thing I want to hear in my headset radio this weekend is "Duluth is playing a good road game tonight".
  6. I meant spoiled attitude (I can do whatever I want, whenever I want), not so much being from a wealthy family.
  7. Good point. I would agree that it seems like a waste of money on lawyers.
  8. This spoiled little brat will probably get hit with civil suits from the families of the people he killed. I honestly hope he counts his blessings and takes advantage of the second chance he has been given.
  9. Chaves needs to start doing this.
  10. As long as it isn't SD Mines.
  11. I think the new traffic signals are on back-order, like a lot of other things. It looks like they are putting in another traffic signal at Washington and 36th Ave S, but they are probably waiting for the traffic signals to get here so they can set them up.
  12. Is this where someone will bring up the imaginary cold front that lies somewhere between Fargo and Grand Forks? Or the supposedly "tropical climate" of Montana vs. North Dakota? There is absolutely no reason why we cannot recruit quality student-athletes to a school like UND, with all the opportunities it offers.
  13. These lower-tier bowl games make very little money or even lose money. Unless you are in the New Years Six or higher, you won't get much financial benefit.
  14. That was Dean Blais' first year in charge. We had won 11 games the year before. We finished 18-18-3, swept St. Cloud on the road in the WCHA first round and lost to Minnesota in the Final Five play-in game.
  15. Thank you for adding these to the list.
  16. I think this is what you are referring to: https://vault.si.com/vault/2004/11/15/getting-by-on-146-mil Common Man had a hilarious take on this; he (jokingly) told fans to bring a couple of canned food items to a Wolves home game so Sprewell could feed his family! The Packers are coddled by the NFL and especially Fox Sports. I never admire them. Ever. That is like Red Sox fans admiring the Yankees and vice-versa. Brady is the undisputed GOAT of QB's. Seven titles out of 10 trips to the Super Bowl. First QB to reach 600 TD passes. I never thought I would move Montana out of the #1 QB spot, but Brady has earned that distinction.
  17. That is because most of our teams suck right now, across the board: Our AD is practically invisible. Sometimes I forget we have one. And that is very concerning because: VB: In the toilet. WBB: In the toilet. MBB: Barely beat Mayville Freaking State. FB: Can't get out of their own way. MH: Has potential, but is brutal to watch right now. I think hockey has the best chance to turn into something special later in the year. And the basketball squads may end up being better than they look right now. But there aren't a lot of reasons to feel good about UND athletics right now. And that is very frustrating. And that does not make any of us psychos.
  18. I feel your pain. Believe me, I do.
  19. I have similar thoughts. The pieces are there, but they have to come together.
  20. I suppose you are right. But after the horrible weekend we had in two sports, I am hungry for some good news. Barely beating Mayville Freaking State does not fit that description.
  21. I like Brady as well. But I will never stop being a fan of the purple.....AND any team playing the Packers!
  22. This is going to be one long, cold winter in Grand Forks.
  23. I was asking a simple question. Apparently you can't give me a simple answer. #overyourhead
