This!!! So much this!!! It is unbelievable that people are treating Covid on December 28, 2021 the same way they treated Covid on March 28th, 2020.

I am wondering how Freund can get Quincy Vaughn more involved in the offense. Besides the occasional RPO play he runs when he is in there, most of the time he goes in to pick up a 3rd and 1 or a 4th and inches. He is our backup QB, but I am wondering if there are other ways to use him in the offense as opposed to under center.

We live in a day and age where media repeatedly reports on stories that eventually come out as totally false yet they get away with it without any retraction or consequences. Pretty sure commenting on "rumors" on a fan message board isn't going to do much harm to any party involved. Not here to rag on the guy. Just commenting on what I heard.

This is a message board where UND related issues get discussed. This thread is specifically talking about the transfer portal. So that is what I am doing. Discussing issues at UND regarding the transfer portal. I am not ragging on Otis and throwing out personal attacks on him. Just stating what I have heard and giving my opinion. Nothing to get all offended by.

Hearing from a credible source that the reason that Otis didn't make the trip to Southern Illinois was that he skipped practice the entire week leading up to the game. Take into consideration that he also missed the Drake game for missing a team meeting. If this is all true, I don't know how he wasn't dismissed from the team that week. It is sounding more and more like Otis entering the transfer portal was a way for him to leave the team with some dignity because Bubba may have told him to do it because he was going to be dismissed from the team.

For a team with 8 guys playing, that was one heck of an effort!! Especially against a top team in the Summit on the road. I’m not for moral victories, but we played much better than expected. Especially considering the circumstances.

I was simply making the point that the REA once marketed itself as "Home of the Fighting Sioux" and don't do that with the new name.

Also, the REA's old log used to say "Home of the Fighting Sioux". But this picture states "Home of North Dakota Hockey." Another example of the REA numming from the Fighting Hawks name/logo.
