  1. I think everyone loved SiouxVolley because he had a way of stiring up the pot and getting conversations going. Was especially great in the summer months when not a lot was going on. He made a lot of preditions and had a lot of opinions, butone thing was rue, he stuck to those opin ions and never backed down from them. He was true to his beliefs. And he greatest belief was his faith in our Lord and Savior. Nailed that one. Sorry for the loss of your bother. He will be missed by his Siouxsports family.
  2. I'd trade a blowout loss to Nebraska for a win against UNI every time!
  3. From the article Brian Shawn will take over for Alex Heinert due to increasing conflicts between Midco Sports broadcasts of UND football and men's hockey. For the first time, Midco Sports will be covering select UND road conference football games — something the Big Sky Conference did not allow, but the Missouri Valley Football Conference does. There are two conference road games this season on dates when UND is home for hockey. Instead of splitting the football duties between Shawn and Heinert, Midco decided to put Shawn on football games full-time and keep Heinert as the primary play-by-play voice of UND men's hockey
  4. I remember the last time a broadcaster went from calling football games at NDSU to calling football games at UND
  5. 1-1 after week 2 doesn't sound too bad!
  6. https://www.espn.com/college-football/player/gamelog/_/id/4579073/tommy-schuster Tommy had the most attempts and yards against the Jacks, 10 for 31 yards. But for the season, he averaged 3.7 rushes for 8 yards. Take out the Jacks game and it was only an average of 3.1 rushes for 5.8 yards. Tommy is a good runner. He is elusive and as we all know, rarely gets sacked. Not sure if running the ball for yardage isn't one of Tommy's strengths, or if Freund doesn't call run plays for him and just leaves that for when Quincey is under center. Have to mix it up more and keep the defense guessing. Not fooling anoyone wo think Tommy is going to run when stats show that he doesn't. Same thing applies for with Quincey is in there. Majority ofthe time he runs. A successful QB strategy in my opinion would be to make both our QB's more two dimensional.
  7. Strategy for all FCS teams facing an FBS opponent. Score early and often. Get them on the ropes. If that is not possible, keep it close for as long as you can. The loater in the game it stays a 1 score game, the btter. Get the FB?S team thinking in the back of their mind that there might be a chance they lose this game. GEt thewm tight late and force a mistake and eke out a win.
  8. Every game except the Nebraska game perhaps.
  9. 2 FBS teams ranked easier than UND, including a B1G team!!
  10. The REA refuses to permananetly display the Fighting Hawks logo anywhere in the arena, except on banners. I wouldn't hold your brerath for anything Fighting Hawks related prominantly displated at the Ralph until 2030 when they hand it over to UND.
  11. If only there was a backdrop that they could have chosen in front of a building that represents the UND students they lead, Hmmmm.
  12. Tickets to the game in Nebraska - $65 Tickets to the game in Fargo - $60.50 Who dooes NDSU think they are?!!
  13. Previously posted on this thread, here is whhere the vising sections in Memorial Stadium are. So you will be near some green in secton 18.
  14. https://gobison.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/SEGetEventInfo?ticketCode=GS%3ANDSU%3AFB22%3AFB06%3A&linkID=ndsu&shopperContext=&pc=&caller=&appCode=&groupCode=FBHG&cgc=&dataAccId=129&locale=en_US&siteId=ev_ndsu Only 40 seats remain for the game against NDSU in Fargo. Only single seats available. Hope everone got their tickets #Rivalry
  15. More UND fans are willing to drive an hour for a game than JAcks fans are willing to drive 3 hours for a game. Heck, they can barely fill their own stadium!! (But I see the point you are making, and yes I make sure my Bison fans friends realize this)
  16. Most teams play better at home than on the road. And that definitely holds true for UND. In the Bubba era, we are 31-9 at home and 15-28 on the road during the regular season. In our last 15 mone games, we are 14-1. In our last 15 road games, we are 3-12. Now will this hold true for this season? Who knows. But if I were a betting man, I would say that trend continues. Now, in order to do that, that means we win against UNI and Missouri St, and lost at Nebraska, N. Arizona, and Southern Illinois. Agree with most on here to say that UNI game is huge. Sets the tone for the season. With two straight road games gainst two playoff teams from last year after the UNI game, the confidence level is different when you are 1-1 instead of 0-2. My prediction for these first 5 games: @ Neb - L UNI - W @N. Arizona - W @Southern Illinois - L Missouri St - W
  17. Tickets on sale right now for the UND/NDSU game in Fargo for Nov 19th https://gobison.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/SEGetEventInfo?ticketCode=GS%3ANDSU%3AFB22%3AFB06%3A&linkID=ndsu&shopperContext=&pc=&caller=&appCode=&groupCode=FBHG&cgc=&dataAccId=129&locale=en_US&siteId=ev_ndsu
  18. I get it advertising is much easier to sell and do at the Ralph compared to most other arenas due to the number of video boards that the Ralph has. But it really is a buzz kill. I have always says that the facia board around the arena needs to be a bigger part of the in game atmosphere. 95% of the time it's used for ads. Given the tecnology out there that the Ralph currently has, and twhat is available now that they dont have, the Ralph has a great opportunity to not inly continue to miximize revenue, but use it to better the game day atmoshphere in the building of which at times can be very stale.
  19. Has anyone that ordered their tickets through UNd got their tickets yet?
  20. Why virtual? Absolutely zero reason for this. It's 2022.
  21. Not a Notre Dame apologist by any means, but Notre Dame has definitly boosted their schedule from what it used to be. They have to to even have a sniff at the CFP. Notre Dame joing the ACC in all non football sports changed that. Notre Dame now consistently schedules 4-5 ACC games a year. So while the ACC certainly isn't a college football powerhouse, but playing teams like Florida State, Clemson, and Miami are much more respectable than playing Navy, Army, and Airforce every year.
  22. If 4 schools leave the PAC12, that leaves them with only 6 (after adding USC and UCLA to the B1G). The PAC12 would have to take teams from the Mountan West. But how many? All of the conference? And if all the MWC teams leave, does the Mountain West start over and take FCS schools ready to move up (Montana, Idaho, Dakota schools) Gonna be a crazy next couple of weeks. Especailly in this thread!
  23. Pretty sad and pathetic article. If you want to come off as knowing anyting about college football, refer to UND as an FCS team, not 1-AA. Hasn't been been known as 1-AA for almost 20 years.
  24. I don't know. I thought Bisonville posts were just people nailing up their opinioins on the barn door on the NDSU campus!
  25. This pretty much ends the "who knew what and when"debate. Even if the University, coaches, etc did know that accusations were made against Otis, they couldn't by law discipline him.
