I think what makes road games so great is the Sioux fans who attend are true die hard fans. They didn't just get tickets from their boss and drive 5 minutes over to the Ralph after work on a Friday noght. These road warriors went out of their way to find out when tickets went on sale, most likey found a group of like minded die hards to go with, bought the tickets, booked a hotel and planned their trip to said away game city. The fans that are at the games are outnumbhered, but they are deffinitely not silent. When you go to a road =game, everyone wearing green and white is your friend. You have that special bond knowing that you drove all this way to see your team play. I have been to St. Cloud, Minnesota, Duluth, and the Final 5 many times for road games. There were always tons of Sioux fans at the games and then out at the local establishments after. But the best road game ever, and I am sure others would agree, would be the trip last year to Omaha. That Friday night game, the entire end was practically Sioux fans. Old Matress factory that Friday and the next Saturday when the game was delayed was packed!! Standing behind the dugout where the players exited the field after the sweep and hearing THOUSANDS of Sioux fans cheer on the team is something that still give me goosebumps. It is moments like these that bond us as fans.

Some of you guys are really making us UND fans look dumb. NDSU is a good team. Did we beat them, yes. But, from January on they have clearly been the better team. They have 5 loses and we were barely 500 when entering the conference tournament. NDSU beat Notre Dame and W. Michigan. Those are good road nonconference wins. We lost to SUU who had only won one game against an NAIA team. Just accept it. NDSU has a better basketball team than UND this year. Head to head works to compare teams when they have similar records, but look how each team finished the season and it is clear who has the better team. There is a reason they are a 12 seed and not a 16 seed. Do they have a chance to beat Oklahoma, sure they do. Probably the best team ranked 12-16 with a chance to upset in the tournament. Some of you guys need to just take the gloves off and stop the stupid UND/NDSU pissing match and recognize a good team when you see it.

There is a reason Miami is the worst team in the conference and one if the worst teams in the nation. Yes they got hot at the right time in St Cloud, but old habits are hard to get rid if. UND needs to exploit the mistakes that Miami has had all year long and take it to them. The crowd at at the Target Center is going to much different than the one in St Cloud. Those Husky fans were on their hands most if the weekend. Crowd is going to be very green in the Taeget Center. Virtually a home game for UND. If we get a couple early goals and get the crowd into it, gonna be tough for Miami to compete with that.

Having a neutral site game and having 4 teams travel is gonna be killer for attendance. Especially first and econd round games. It just makes sense to have schools host and have a sold out gym as opposed to the alternative.

As much as Bison fans love to label a large portion of our fanbase as "hockey only" fans, there are just as many, if not more, "football only" fans at NDSU.

Why accept an invite? So we can put 2013-2014 on that CIT banner we have proudle hanging from the Betty!! And of course saying you have made the post season 4 consecutive years is a great recruiting tool!!

Let's just win 2 games and not even worry about the Pariwise!

One if the biggest days in UND Basketball history. Women's team clinched their first tournament bid, now the men have a chance to do the same. This is what we have been waiting for for 5 years with this team. A chance for the big dance. I realize 3 if the seniors are out today, but Huff and Anderson can play big for them. If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best. Can't think of a better opportunity than this one. To beat the Big Sky basketball powerhouse and conference champ on their home court. Let's do it boys!! Make history tonight!!

If you would have just insulted our fanbase and town by calling us morons or something, it would have at least been a respectable rip on us. I think the "Sioux Rule" would never really work. The reason that there was the "Gopher Rule" for the Final 5 was to get the casual gopher hockey fan to possibly attend. It is obviously easier for a person living in the Twin Cities Metro area to decide to go to a night game when you find out a week before. For Sioux fans, the majority of the one going to the NCHC tournament have been planning to go for months. Probably planned on going to all the games anyway. So putting UND in the afternoon shouldn't affect attandance too much. If you really want to reward the #1 seed going into the NCHC Tournament, you would put them in the Friday afternoon game. If they win, it gives them the most rest before the Championship game. I think if UND and St Cloud both make it, its not gonna matter who is in the early game or who is in the night game. Both should have plenty of fans there. That being siad...I guess we all have no idea how this new league is going to do things. We will wait and see I guess!!

Making the tournament is making the tournament. Whether ytou are a 1 seed, a 12 seed or a play in 16 seed. If we end up winning the Big SKy and have to play in Dayton on Tuesday or Wednesday, I would still consider it a great accomplishment for this team and the University. Heck, we could even have a great shot at winning a tournament game!!

Can we all just agree that there are stupid fans for every fan base. From little league and pee wees to Pro sports. Do those fans represent the entire fan base? Of course not. So coming on a schools fan message board to complain about one fan and label ALL UND fans to be like that is not fair to the rest of us fans who are respectful during games. All of probably have that one (or more) experince with fan from an oppoisng team. I had a St Cloud fan the NHC flick me off and tell me "go f$#k yourself." Now do you really think that is fair for me to think that all SCSU fans are like that guy? Just ask yourself that and maybe you will put things a little more in perspective.

Won't be able to hang a white banner this year. Let's hang a green one instead!!
