Best game of year in many categories. Lots of blocks, clean kills, good serving (did we have unforced?), and damn did we have a lot of digs. Huge win to show we can knock of first/second place team. UNC swept Eastern tonight, so lets do the same on Saturday and I believe we clinch playoff birth.

So if you are a player from western ND and need to get closer to home but are a legit DI player you aren't allowed to transfer to UND or NDSU (or Montana schools)? Just pointing out that this rule already has its flaws and will need exceptions.

It's funny you bring up the shot when it's a pass. I was watching Wisconsin and their play by play man has been working a long time and when a cross ice pass was made he said it was a backhanded shot. I haven't been paying super close attention to this fact that bothers you and don't know if Hammer is right with the play, but for most play by play it's a quick decision to say pass or shot. I'm going to let this slide until more experience is gained. Now the "Kober" thing does bug me...

You got two fixes: 1) Don't watch it on the hi-def station since it isn't broadcast in that quality. Their is a regular def channel. (easy fix) 2) change your settings on your box so that it automatically fills screen. (depends on your tv box knowledge level)

No rumor on this one. The band was told not to play the Hey Song. I got this from the director when they played in Winnipeg last year. All the school song lyrics have been changed.

It was either on twitter or here that after the first game he said he finally got to see it on fcs replay and admitted it wasn't as good. What I've seen on Midco sports station seemed fine in quality (though it was on smaller tv). So something isn't working in the transmission to fcs.

same here other than the sync up. I have Directv and I have the same washed-out too bright ice picture as always. Half the time you can't even read the logo at center, but it's been like that in the past. Some games are better than others.

This is where us being the only local Big Sky school will really pay off. All those Summit schools are looking for games and we are a bus ride away. This is one reason why that "we are so far away" from conference teams argument is not as big of deal as some other schools claim, because we won't have to fly or take super long bus trips for our non-con.
