Your memory must be worse than we thought PCM. I did some Googling, and the onion on the belt was popular in ought-six, not dickity-nine. Used the old language for ya.

Basically any area that is dependent on rivers is facing a water shortage in the future. Droughts happen. Try being Phoenix. They are a boom city and I have seen reports of them being out of water by 2010. Doesn't mean it'll happen. Even worse is Vegas. Why? Well, Arizona "owns" the rights to the Colorado river. I believe their are some weird "deals" where Nevada gets to take water. But if Arizona starts needing more water, then Nevada is in trouble. Of course I may be totally wrong on this. I've heard this "ownership" talk from Arizona residents. Maybe AZSIOUX can help?

That's what I was thinking in reading these articles. I don't believe that Golden State has anything in their symbols dealing with Native Americans.

If Matt signs, he'll have more than enough money to go back and earn his college education. It's a matter of if he wants it. I was taking undergrad courses with Lee Davidson (who was one of my favorites as a tyke) when he was a volunteer assistant. He came back to get his degree after playing minor pro hockey for like 15 years. Colleges will always be there. Pro contracts won't.

First off, I'm a MATH teacher. I don't do history. Secondly, you don't want to argue with a teacher about what we are FORCED to teach or not. Blame Bush's No Child Left Behind for what your kids learn. Thirdly, GF does teach North Dakota history in 8th grade, but do you really think the Hispanics I teach in Southern California want to learn about North Dakota? There are way to many Native American tribes that there is just no way for a school to teach about all of them.

Wow. Now you're claiming that KSU and CSU are major DI in men's bball. They suck, plain and simple.
-
The 8th in the nation was really surprising. Especially when they are basing it on the last ten years, yet listed Edina's history. How many fb, bball, and hockey titles for Edina in the last ten? I believe they won a hockey title for sure. Small individual sports like tennis are a lot easier to win than the big team sports.

I just received a letter from Minot informing me that I could move back to North Dakota because they have good paying jobs. Here's what they say: I'm not in engineering, but my mathematics degree must have gotten them to send this. I'm intrigued, but want to know more. I did a PCM and googled it, but only found a job service listing as well. Title was Aztec Professional Services, but I don't think that's the aerospace company name. You guys seem really good at finding info. Anybody have anything on this?

I really like the non-conference schedule. We get to go against a supposedly power in Michigan St. Playing at UNH should be fun. Plus we get to beat up the smart kids (Harvard) at home. The BSU home and away should be a good time for a lot of Sioux fans as well.

Sportscenter or ESPNNEWS ran highlights of the US-Canada game. The only thing they pointed out was how the U.S. defense sucked. Funny how they spot shadowed Leopold and Martin for being out of position.
-
I wish I could see more games.

Actually ASU has a very good club team. Same with Arizone if I'm not mistaken. Lots of fans go too. Sounds odd, but remember that many Minnesota kids go to those schools. There was an article online a while back on Cal's club team. Can't remember if it was INCH or not.

I built my own stadium in Grand Forks. Have now played something like 12 seasons and even imported my players into the draft on Madden.

Whoever said that Air Force should move out of the CHA to us is not going to happen. This whole problem is created by AF moving conferences. IF...the CHA disbands and the NCAA somehow forces teams on conferences, I'd like to see most just join atlantic. IF...the WCHA has to take teams, I'd like to see BSU and Omaha (great for NCC schools). The CCHA could then add one of the CHA teams to stay at 12.
-
That conference would be the death of college hockey. At least for everyone but Hockey East.
-
Or the arena could quit playing canned music. Amazing how in Columbus the fans or band filled the stoppages with noise.

GO GATORS!
-
Count me in.

It's a shame too. Providence was a great place to go and watch hockey.
-
I've been to those 100,000+ games and I'd rather be at a Sioux playoff game.
-
Here I was thinking Braly was SCSU's stadium. I'd still rather watch the Sioux at the Alerus. I've been to the Rose Bowl. It's neat the first time, but gets old when you don't care about either team. Also been to the Fiesta Bowl. Neat to be at a big bowl game, but once was enough and I could truly care less.
-
Hey Josh! Thanks for coming to the board to trash all of us homegrown and transplanted North Dakotans in person. Oh, and BTW I'd rather be at the ALERUS than the Rose. The Betty rather than the United and anything college over the pros. No I'm not an idiot like you assume. I'd rather watch the Sioux play than a bunch of over-hyped corrupt teams that I don't care about.

I know St. Louis doesn't have a team, that's why I was curious as to who was hosting. I figured it was the CHA or Omaha.
-
Who would be hosting the Miami one? While fun, let us not forget the Anaheim disaster. Though Florida is a lot closer than Cali. Also, who's hosting the St. Louis FF in 2007 or 2008?
