BU does get a penalty, and in no way did Greene deserve his.

Parise takes a cross check to the face. Dirty play BU. Should be an obvious penalty.

While I think ESPN would love the BC/BU storyline, I have not felt like they have been cheering against us like in years past.

I don't think he cheers against UND in any way. He is knowledgeable about BU and even commented on the coaching job of Hakstal in taking over for Blaise.

I kind of agree. We are working extremely hard (and outplaying BU), but Stafford's goal snuck by. The last two goals were the right guy in the right place and the right time. For two or more years I've felt like we haven't had any "puck luck," but the puck seems to be finding us tonight.

You must be pretty young. He played for BU and on his first shift tried to check Mitch Vig and missed. Roy was paralyzed. Not sure on the year. He has a great book called 8 seconds. That was his college hockey career.

Yes, but not for your reasons. I think that the arena is too dark. Plus, the camera work has not been very good. It's really hard to follow the play. Thank goodness that Thorne is watching and commentating.

First Period Thoughts: Tough sledding offensively. BU mans up very well and doesn't let us move. Thank goodness Stafford scored, because I can see this ending at 1-0. Hopefully we can continue to keep it in their zone and just wear them out. I kind of find it nice that everything is being called. We know we always do something stupid on the PK anyways, but at least stuff is going against BU now. BU goalie gives up rebounds, but we need guys to be in front and waiting for that puck.

Not true. It's on FSN-MN. Plus Mich/UW is on an alternate channel and ESPNU. Sioux game will be replayed later on ESPNU.
