In one word...No.

I just went back and watched the first USD TD on the fullback up the seam. Cover zero, tight end blocked down and fullback came out like was going to go to the flat on a quick hitter. I stand corrected - that one was on Reyes. Tough read, great play design by USD. "Gotcha" play. I imagine they broke a film tendency there too. The play before that, Cole ran up the seam with the inside WR on a double-move and broke up the pass in the end zone.

Respectfully... Even "elite" players make mistakes. And based on the games I watch, he doesnt make "too many mistakes". When he is in the game, he is a difference maker. When he's not, the defense is not the same. Watch the film. How is he grading out for assignment and technique? Reyes was 2nd team all-conference last year as a sophomore while missing time with an injury. The Big Sky coaches voted him there. The two 1st team all-conference safeties were seniors. One was drafted in the 4th round, one was signed as a free agent. Cole is the best safety in the Big Sky right now (my opinion of course), and he's only a junior. This year, the Big Sky coaches voted Reyes preseason 1st team all-conference as a junior. The BSC coaches like what they have seen on film from him. At this point, it is my belief that Reyes is a candidate for 2016 Big Sky Defensive POY, given his performance so far. I realize he has to stay healthy and continue his strong play through the BSC conference season. Next year, he should be a candidate for 2017 BSC preseason defensive POY. Could he be better in coverage? Maybe. But everyone can always be better. Cole has not blown a coverage for a TD this year blown only one coverage for a TD this year. IMO, Cole Reyes is already "elite", only 3 games into his junior season. The BSC coaches seem to think so as well. Pretty impressive.

Just wasn't sure if you thought Stony Brook and their "vaunted" defense was quality enough yet or not. You hadn't really bought in since we played them in 2014. They had the #1 defense last year in the country in yards and were 6th in points, 1 spot behind the cow college. Glad to see you've come around.

So way back when, you were saying womens athletic expenses were being hidden on the mens athletic expense side to avoid being hyper-compliant for Title IX? Can you show me where that was? I don't seem to remember that, but I certainly could have missed it. Or do you have your information mixed up again?

Love the call to go for 2. Wouldnt have it any other way. You are on the road against an FBS opponent. If you have the opportunity to win the game after coming back from way down, then you take it. Bubba made the right call in my eyes. If he had the same opportunity tomorrow, I think he'd do the same thing. I also hope he would.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. The books have been cooked for quite some time. They have hidden womens expenses buried all over the place and most of them are being put on the mens side in order to not be labeled as "hyper-compliant". It's as obvious as ever that we indeed are exactly that - "hyper-compliant". It will only become more obvious as we move along here...

Relax. Ugly first half - almost expected. Can we play a full game first before we jump off the ledge please? Love all the passion though.

From UND website: "The REA Hockey Academy will now be running North Dakota Hockey camps. Dates are now set." REA Hockey Academy is in charge of the camps. Not UND.

Based on participation numbers from the last 2 summer camps, you can expect revenues for 2016 to be double that of the 2014 numbers. 2015 should be much higher as well, but this summer(2016) was a banner year from a camp participation standpoint. Incredible job by this staff. Return and potential - over 400 high school kids visiting campus and seeing UND firsthand, all while bringing in revenue. Now that's marketing your product and your University.

The peak of potential for WH has come and gone with little financial effect on the program as a whole (Lamoureaux Twins). The biggest indictment is that the REA doesn't even want womens hockey anymore as it will be an eternal black hole and they know it.
