Oh.... You haven't been great at reading between the lines/speculating/stating facts in the past, so I'm just trying to understand your take and angle on this one. If you think Kennedy (publicly or privately) will have no say in this round of cuts, you are sadly mistaken. Remember when Kennedy wasn't cutting any more sports because you said that he already stated he wasn't going to?

Explain this in further detail please?...
-
I believe you are wrong on this.....Again.

Really? What's the title of the thread? All those variables will be considered when making the final decisions. They don't bring in the same for attendance. Plus volleyball's ROI is much higher.

Speaking of the article, Reyes is the defending BSC Defensive POY and he doesnt even get mentioned? Seems odd since he has the resume and notoriety. Either there is fire with that smoke or the author of the article is in la-la land. It's awesome to have 2 pro prospects on defense, both from the secondary no less. We've come a long way in the back row in a short time.

Correct. It's all about potential which is what I've said all along. We have to wait and see how next season goes. Long 6-3 corners don't grow on trees. They are rare and can't be coached or taught that. Like I said it's up to Deion to take his game and commitment to the next level. He has the highest ceiling for NFL potential based on his measurables NFL scouts don't ask about Harris? We obviously disagree on the Harris vs Reyes NFL draft potential. We can only wait and see how it plays out. What we don't disagree on is that Cole is the best defensive player in the BSC and MAYBE the entire country. Maybe. He's definitely most valuable to his team.

Someone seems to think that deion harris is the #1 NFL draft prospect from FCS at this point for the 2018 draft. Is it NFL draft gospel? No. I don't necessarily think he's #1, but the talent potential for the next levels appears to be shared by others and his reputation from a physical measurables standpoint seems to have gotten around. http://m.herosports.com/news/fcs-players-2018-nfl-draft-targets Edit: oops I see this link was already discussed in another thread

Or Med School....or Law School.....or Business School....

Starting a poll doesn't answer the question(s) that has been asked of you any times here by jdub27.

The Ralph is a for-profit business. Why would they want to host WH games and lose money when they could have much larger events that attract thousands from around the region to come to Grand Forks and ultimately have a large impact on the commerce in town? Grand Forks as a business community would benefit more if we didnt have WH.
-
No. No they would not. Why would they say that?
-
That's fine. We just disagree. Would have to just wait and see on that I guess. I believe there would be a 3-5 days of potential "backlash" in the media and would then fade away. But from people that matter in the big scheme of things? That I'm not so sure about. From a negative impact on monetary donations standpoint on annual giving or major gifts? Zero to little impact in my opinion. There is no big donor to that program. I don't believe Ralph was ever staunch on having Womens Hockey either. Another assumption as far as I know and can see it. Sue Jeno and.....?

Cant confirm that. Not sure. Could be talent, could be academics.

Maybe the kid has been or still is recruiting UND? Not 100% sure on that. I think if you connect the dots on him though it makes sense that we aren't recruiting him any more. Can things change? Sure. Recruiting is the most fluid part of college football. Just sharing the info I have come across.

We are not in on JaQuere Williams any more. It has been quite a while now actually.
-
There is zero trend of sexism or bias regarding WH here. Just results and numbers. Those are the trends. Hard for some people to objectively see that.
-
Right.....you're just being contrarian and bomb throwing again.
-
Uff seriously? Yeah that's what he meant. He doesn't like Canadians and Europeans. Or womens sports. Jeez. What an off-base, out of context comment. Cmon Cratter.
-
Despite late FBS offers, Larson is a UND lock.
-
There was more backlash from baseball than there would ever be for womens hockey. Guaranteed. Way more people cared about baseball being cut. There was a history and a ton of alums who care.
-
Backlash from who though? Another presumptuous fallacy.
-
LOL. What? Is this mythical person going to do it on an annual basis for as long as necessary? Old MacDonald doesn't have enough money for that, sorry.
-
Because he was given bad information, just like Ed Schafer.

I think there's potential that swimming and diving might get a shot in the arm because of the Summit. This is purely conjecture, but who knows if that was a caveat for joining the Summit maybe? Womens soccer is fully funded on schollies (12 I believe) but is a drop in the bucket budget-wise compared to WH. I cant recall the total budgets for soccer and womens S&D combined, but Id imagine WH is more. You probably know my answer.
