Thanks for sharing and being completely wrong. Too bad you aren't around more. Nobody blasted Jack at all. I blasted the setup of having a Fargo/NDSU guy doing UND games. And I am right. Jack is great at his job but should be doing NDSU coverage being he is in Fargo and on The Fan. Also, 970am has the rights and Jack works for 740. Figure it out.

Do you think? Tell us more. Of course they are going to be conservative, they were conservative for 12 games last year. Darrell addressed one aspect of the game. Yes, even we minions understand that defense needs to be played too. Oh, and something called special teams (never really heard of it).

People are actually trying to talk about the game. Some know more than others. The last thing we need is jackweed comments filling it up again. And yes, trying to actually keep their offense on the field is the only way UND stays close. But, that goes for most every team in America.

Size of the defensive lineman has nothing to do with anything. Their defensive lineman have never been huge but have been tougher than hell and good. The problem with UND's offensive line is their is little depth and some are too weak/thin to help at this point.

Exactly right. But the media could not turn to UND for a comment anymore because they moved on and did everything they were supposed to do to solve these issues. "Take it up with the group that did it"......

But if they have a new nickname nobody will care-not UND's fault. If they keep the elephant in the room, in the room, it will be a big deal.

My opinion: It will be nice having a UND guy do UND football games. Not a guy who spends 5 days a week talking about NDSU on the radio in Fargo and then travels up to UND games on the weekend. That setup sucked. Like Jack but the setup was bad.

Here is your "let's just go with no nickname crowd (because the choices are bad)". Seriously, they brought their kids to the rally and had them make signs. Has nothing to do with the old nickname at all.

Considering NDSU only had 3 total I am not surprised UND had 0.

An addendum only changes what is addressed in the addendum itself. It does not pertain to anything that it does not discuss.

Have you been paying attention at all? The No Nickname people ARE the Sioux Forever people. They don't want a nickname so they can keep calling it them the Sioux. Of course they are going to tear apart each name choice, they don't want one! C'mon.

That is not a scare tactic, it is a simple question. Scare tactics are when Sioux Lovers dig up dirt on an ex-president trying to make him seem like a horrible human being so people won't vote for Roughriders. That was about as desperate of a scare tactic as I have ever seen.

You're missing something here. Read the post above yours. The NCAA and sanctions over the old nickname was the problem back in the day. Everyone wants to know if it will pop up again by not having a nickname. Wish Kelley would answer the question.
