You don't believe anything that is brought up here. Is it possible that they act more than one way, depending on the recruit and time of the year? They talk to 100's of recruits every year and at the end of the year they start trying to steal other team kids to fill their class, like all staff's do. Hence the staying in contact with recruits. Just so happens that they have been trying to get UND's lately when they didn't 2-3 years ago. The guy laid out the entire conversation above and you don't believe it. Unreal.

Unfortunately, I feel there would be more than a few hockey fans that would gladly sign up for that option. Hockey stays D1 and name stays Sioux, rest of the sports to NAIA.

It's only been 4 years since we used the Sioux name last and now we are supposed to all the sudden "slow down" and unite. The nickname committee started in March and 6 months later we are only down to 5 names. That isn't slow enough for him after 5 years of knowing the name is gone?

Cool, makes sense. But why do you want to stay North Dakota and have no nickname? You have said you want to stay North Dakota/UND but gave no reasons why. Or why it would benefit UND as an institution.

You don't want a new nickname, now or ever. Finally some honesty. If more of you would answer honestly like that we could finally clear up the real intentions.

They don't even have the ability to web stream the game. They need somebody else to step up and offer to do it and nobody wanted to. Pathetic.

OK, so you are indifferent to the old Sioux name and long ago accepted that it's gone. What is the problem then? I am still waiting to hear what these brand new, shiny nicknames are that everyone is going to agree upon 2-3 years from now?

If it will shut the Sioux Forever crowd up and allow the University to move forward, I am on board.

What are some nicknames that should have been on the list? I would like to hear the golden name that will mentally allow the Sioux crowd to move on.

Once again, what is the point of not picking a nickname and delaying the invevitable? And I don't want an answer that comes from a hockey rube point of view. As you alluded to, UND and the State of ND are not putting one more dollar into this stupid fiasco. They will never go to court again so get that out of your heads when trying to save the Sioux legacy. Give us the positives of not picking a nickname.

Amazing how NDSU fans see their coaches and how others see them. BTW, it wasn't in ND and UND didn't have a dog in the hunt so stop blaming them. The poster of the comment is not a UND through and through person. How would Kleiman know what the assistant said to the kid? The kid didn't report him or anything. Every winter we are supposedly lying about recruiting situations but slowly it turns out we are right and your local spokesman over at BV is wrong.

What does that have to do with what he was saying? Yell whatever the hell you want to. If UND picks a new nickname, yell whatever you want til the end of time. Nobody will care (even the NCAA). But with no new nickname, the NCAA will do whatever the hell they want to also. I know hockey fans don't care about that because the Ralph cannot host regionals anymore but other sports and their fans are getting sick of dealing with this crap. For example, if for some reason the sanctions come back, I would love for the Sioux Forever crowd to explain to Bubba Schweigert why it's OK he cannot have a home playoff game ever again. Look at how much time we spend on these message boards talking about this when we could be discussing recruiting, facilities, upcoming season, whatever.

Takes a few weeks at least. They sub out the job and crews just constantly go around and bury line all day. Very good customer service on that end. They came back and re-filled the trench with topsoil and seeded again after it settled. I have CableOne, Midcontinent, and Century Link running beside my house 15' from the outside box on the house(corner lot). Started with CableOne, switched to Midco so have both lines ran to the house. Century Link might be up next.

Other coaches don't even try to bring up stuff against UND Hockey, are you joking? What are they going to bring up? They are basically bulletproof. Its whether the kid likes UND or another school/program better. The other programs on campus....not so much.

Another blue-chip, high end, once-in-a-lifetime recruit to bring UND lots of regular season wins.

Why isn't anyone wearing the interlocking ND in the pictures (one guy has a yard sign I guess) - that is the logo they so desperately want to keep, right?
