  1. and in 36 minutes of ice time vs. 85 minutes.
  2. I have 30. Kucherov-6, Stankos-4, Forsberg-3, Johansen-4, Ovechkin-2, Karlsson-1 Hedman-0, Subban-2, Josi-2, Carlson-6
  3. The USNDT has tore up the USHL this year. When you look at PPG they have 6 or 7 guys in top 15. As a team they have scored just below 5 goals a game and are scoring a full goal a game more than anyone else.
  4. Hopefully for the kid he is able to get in to Harvard and have that option...but I doubt he has been fully accepted at 16. They just lost Wahlstrom from the USNDT who was planning on attending next year. I believe it was due to admission policies.
  5. Murray changed/decided this game in first 15 minutes. Flyers could have easily been up 4 and should have at least been up by 2 after 1.
  6. I would give him 2 and 10. the next 2 games of the playoffs and the first 10 games of next season(maybe 5).
  7. He does work for ESPN....probably hadn't hit the Virtue Signaling mandate in his contract yet.
  8. Agree. Not like the CHL ever cared that a kid had a verbal commitment or a signed one for that matter.
  9. I'll go with Forwards Nikita Kucherov(TB) Steven Stamkos(TB) Filip Forsberg(Nashville) Ryan Johansen(Nashville) Alex Ovechkin(Washington) William Karlsson(Vegas) Defense Victor Hedman(TB) P.K. Subban(Nashville) Roman Josi(Nashville) John Carlson(Washington)
  10. But he did stay at the Budget Inn Express last night.
  11. I hear ya. Some of these are bordering on trolling vs. pure stupidity
  12. Well when something is made up out of thin air and speculation it should probably just remain no news.
  13. Well, the recruiting and scouting services all have Jackson Kunz rated as the better prospect so there is that. There is more that goes into the process of the USNDT than raw ability.
  14. What would that be? Most of the top end talent for 2018-19, 2019-20, and 2020-21 have already committed and we got more than our fair share of them. At this point it is all about specific needs and having guys in the pipeline to backfill for early departures and hopefully having made good connections on the kids that weren't considered high end recruits when they were 16-18 but take that next step in the USHL or other junior leagues.
  15. Well, next years class is pretty much finished unless they need/add a depth guy. We have top 3 ranked classes coming in for 2019 and 2020.

    Sandy?

Hell, that's a weekend at Augie's for you.
  17. And those underachieving Panzer brothers.
  18. Coaching, development, and culture are right there with recruiting.
  19. I agree for the most part. If you are good enough in todays age with the technology available...they will find you. I do think it is different for a kid from North Dakota or almost any other state other than Minnesota though...especially as it relates to the National Development Team. Bad habits can drift into your game when you are not being challenged so even a kid playing in a AAA midget program who is head and shoulders above his teammates and competition but not elite enough for the USNDT has to weigh the options of playing in the USHL or NAHL.
  20. Ira, I am not sure how many of the kids in the Elite league are competing in Fall Sports but part of the reason(in addition to extra games to offset leaving for the USHL) for the set-up and format of the league was to allow kids to be able to play fall sports(football on Friday nights) and then play 2-3 games of hockey on Saturday and Sunday.
  21. And hasn't had a top 20 recruiting class in the last 5 years.
  22. I just about had a seizure trying to read that. Anyone else? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOXsi682OgA
