As far as being bad I agree.....but with Rudy it was because I could predict about 98% of our play calls if I was playing the QB1 game.

WTFAWD? 3rd and 4 or 3rd and 8, hell even 3rd and 12 and we throw the ball 30-40 yards down the field with our fingers crossed 80% of the time.

I agree that Brungard should have won POY but system quarterback at NDSU. System QB's at FCS schools usually don't end up in the NFL and Payton is a different breed of QB from the "system" QB's they have had. Reminds me of when one of the idiots(Tommy Olson?) on the KFAN morning show said that Mitch Leidner from the Gophers would have been in the NFL if he had played at NDSU. I believe he won the preposterous statement tournament that year or at least made a deep run.

Which one? There were two obvious targeting penalties to the head that didn't draw a flag. Got speared in the facemask on first one in live action play and got a shoulder and elbow to back of head after he was down on the second one.

I like to call it my WTFAWD* quotient. The first half of the year it was once or twice a game, the last 5 games or so it has been 7 to 9 times a game. * what the fu&* are we doing.

Timing of that is somewhat determined by conference schedule. USD chose to play their 12th game early in the season while UND and NDSU for example had open weeks in September while USD played straight through.

And he is miles better than JJ.....woof
