    I think we would get R.I.T. with Providence going to Missouri since Western Michigan would have to go East. If they regionalize it we could get WCHA but BC has earned that.

    Nightmare scenario as it currently stands for the NCAA Tournament Committee.....things will change, but as of today I would not envy them. Natural layout. BC, Maine, Quinnipiac, Bemidji State BU, Wisconsin, Michigan, R.I.T. UND, Minnesota, Colorado College, Massachusetts Denver, Michigan State, Western Michigan, Providence last teams out Nebraska Omaha and SCSU. Issues....Michigan vs. Wisconsin needs to be changed. How do they keep top 2 seeds out East with Massachusetts being a host team and as a 4 seed and not able to matchup against either of them. Providence is not host team but I am sure they would like to keep them in Providence if they could. What if Nebraska Omaha moves up and knocks Providence out? Do you then move UND or Denver out East and Bring BU west?

    With the way the Sections are set-up you were going to lose 4 of the top 6 teams in the state heading into the State Tournament.

    Thanks. Yes I finally figured out it was highest seed and not next seed. Had been focused on if SDSU and UND ended up tied.

    I thought if two teams were tied the tiebreakers were 1. head to head 2. record against the next team in the standings. We split with UMKC We split with St. Thomas and St. Thomas swept UMKC.

    Turnabout is fair play I guess. UMD, sadly flops as much as any team in the country.

    There is a decent chance we can flip the RPI comparison with BU, depending on who we play the rest of the year. If we do that we would both have 61 comparisons won and we would beat them 2-1 in our comparison.

    The game wasn't over in St. Cloud but they must have said, well it is 6-1 with 5 minutes left, what the hell lets present it.

    So with 7 of the 8 AA Sections complete, I believe 6 teams who were seeded #1 in their section will not be playing in the Excel

    Thankfully we had a booze stocked suite for that one.

    Yeah, the NCAA will never allow that to happen again after what happened in 2005. Except when it happened in 2008 and 2009 and 2015 and 2016 and 2021 and 2022.....other than those though, it will never happen again.

    Tough game to officiate but have to give the refs credit tonight. After the dive to draw the first power play, they didn't take the bait on the next 9-10 ridiculous dives UMD took. The second period was embarrassing.

    The cupboard was torn off the wall when he arrived. He had to rebuild the cupboard and then stock it. Everyone likes to mention how young UND is....NDSU has 2 seniors who I believe could both play another year(Covid), 1 junior, 2 sophomores, and 6 freshmen who all play and contribute.

    We have an abundance of fans(a few on here, but not many thankfully) who believe that the sole purpose of other college hockey programs is so we have someone to play.

    If two teams are tied for first and split games then it would go to both teams record against the 3rd place team, then 4th place team and so on until one team has the better record against them

    I believe I read somewhere that we could actually lose out and still be in top 8 at this point.

    I would think any team who relies on scoring goals on the rush would want nothing to do with them.
