No Name would have been good and by good I mean better than Fighting Hawks. The name was bland but then they had a 4th grader come up with the worst logo in college sports. Kelly would have been good as well....like Stanford Cardinal If we were going to go with Hawks we should have gone with a more specific bird/hawk, Peregrines have local interest and are the fastest animal on the planet.

Kleven has definitely dialed back the physical part of his game a bit, but it is good to put a couple "you tube" hits on tape for consumption and general information. You can tell by some of the decision making the Denver forwards made over the weekend that for the most part they were very aware every time Tyler was on the ice and that is a good thing and now the rest of the league has a little reminder as to why. The hit along the boards was a textbook hit that NHL scouts salivate over. The linesmen kind of got in the way and the kid started to bail when he knew he had made an error in judgement.

Please forgive us. With the vast number of questionable play calls UND has had this year it can be hard to keep them all straight.

How is it that on 3rd and 4 or 3rd and 8 for that matter that we have to have a wide receiver make a play to pick up a first down? Can't we throw a pass past the sticks? i swear we could complete 3 passes on a drive and punt on 4th because we still need 5 yards

True story. i used to play Fastpitch in Grand Forks and our sponsor was none other than the Ambassador Hotel. Roxanne Jensen and her husband were the owners back then. The only time I personally used their accomodations was when a couple Canadian Co-Eds invited myself and a friend back to their room from the bar. Things got a little dicey when the guys they were with showed up about an hour later after going for some food.
