If Minnesota loses again today, NDSU should be and will be favored again against Minnesota just like they were in 07. I think people overlook just how bad of a coach Lane Kiffin(regarding thhe USC game) is. Jerry Kill has alot of work to do in dinkytown. The Gophs may have been on the downslide when Mason left, but Brewster took them to rock bottom. The 07 team was not only historically bad as a Gopher team, but one of the worst Big Ten teams in history. Given that the current Gopher team is the result of 3 more years of Brewster, this team may be worse.

They won national titles on five separate occasions (1983, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1990) before moving to Division I-AA (now FCS)in 2004

If the powers that be make the decision to replace the greatest name/logo in all of college sports, I am kind of leaning in this direction as well. Roughnecsk would be my preference as it would have the potential for some pretty good logo's and marketing. This shouldn't take place for 3-4 years no matter what name they choose.

I am with you on this, but..................we are likely in the process of changing our name due to about 5-10% of people wanting us to do so, so I am not sure if 60% would be enough?
