Minnesota is one of the premier programs in all of hockey and I think they should honor their past.....it's not like they are hanging participation banners and DQ cup banners like St. Cloud.

I have gone to this series for probably the last 7 or 8 years and have never had a ticket ahead of time. Usually end up with a freebie or reduced price(dont think I have ever paid more than 15-20)...I like to stand on glass or up top so ticket location isn't important to me.

So for this weekend in St. Cloud we are potentially looking at Kristo, Nelson, and ? Gaarder, MacMillan, and ? Senkbeil, Pattyn, and ? Rowney, Lamoreaux, and Gleason Panzarella, Mattson, Simpson, Mcwilliam,?, and ? Looks like enough for 3 lines and 2 pairs of D.

Anyone know what kind of Salvo Roebuck fired off on NDSU today at Sioux boosters in Grand Forks? My sources tell me apologies have been issued!

Schmaltz...coach left Gregiore....Denver changed their agreement with him St. Clair...was 14? vs. Miller....changed mind 2 months before school started Clarke....only committed to UND so that the Major Junior teams with the higher draft picks would pass on him Matteau.....re-iterated his desire to come to UND 2 weeks ago while likely knowing what was going down

At Sioux boosters today Hak said it is really hard to be able to judge character and integrity these days when a kid looks you in the eye and tells you he is 100% committed just 2-3 weeks ago but UND will continue to recruit the top end kids.

In these games, puck possession is always a huge factor. Minnesota is at .517 and UND .526 in the faceoff circle.....UND relies heavily on Knight at 61% and Mario at 56%, while the Gophs rely on Bjugstad, Serratore, and Budish who are all over 58%. If Knight and Lammy are not able to go AND be close to 100% it could be a long weekend for UND.

You would be surprised at the number I am afraid. At the Armed Forces High School all star game some kids were pouting about what number they had to wear and a couple stated that if they were torn between 2 schools they would check the rosters to see if "their" number was available

Phil was legit and if you ask Bruce smith he will tell you that a huge part of his success was due to playing next to him.

I have been to quite a few ECHL games and have always thougt it would be interesting to watch top college teams play them. The top lines of the top college teams are usually more skilled than the top lines of the ECHL teams, but obviously not as experienced....but where you notice a difference is the 2nd and 3rd lines of the ECHL teams are usually going to be faster and make sharper passes and obviously stronger and this is where they are going to have their biggest advantage. The matchups would be interesting and in a 1 game or even a short series the college team could definitely beat an ECHL team, but if you had both those team play 10-15 games against other ECHL teams I think the ECHL team will probably have a better record.

Few years ago at the Frozen Five I was walking on the Suite level and had 3 girls in Gopher jerseys walking toward me.....as I get even with them one of them says "The Sioux fu^kin suck. I glance back and see that 2 of them are wearing Kaufman jerseys so I say "hey are you Kaufman's sister or girlfriend?". One of them says "why do you ask that?" I said "Well who the hell would wear an Eric Kaufman Jersey?" She says "it's Evan" and I said "Eric, Evan, whatever" I laughed all the way back to the Suite.

I love going to game at Mariucci! Usually get the the guy behind me who yells either "SKATE" or "SHOOT" exclusively and goes crazy every time a Gopher gets hit with "CALL IT"....I am sure this same fan is scattered around the Ralph as well

Didn't see the game since I was at the Sioux game....but if a team is taking "goonish penalties" it isn't running up the score if you make them pay for it.

34 points is a reasonable goal for this team. sweep UAA split with UNO split with Gophs, split at SCSU sweep bucky at home split at UMD sweep Tech split at Denver sweep Mankato and Beat the Russians, harvard twice, and Clarkson and we are sitting 22-12-1 when it's all said and done
