Well, they did get her address wrong...
-
I am sure that organization hired college kids in Grand Forks as well...................holding my breath for now.
-
I probably won't buy season tickets since I actually prefer standing on the railing but will likely make it to every game with the possible exception of the Portland State game.
-
And 5 Guys and Hi Ho have also received numerous accolades from various publications as well....I have ate at JL a couple times and while the burgers were good, maybe they just didn't quite live up to the hype?
-
If I remember right, I think Bochenski left kind of late in the summer?
-
JL is way overrated. Hi Ho is probably best burger in Fargo area.
-
What sucks is we are an injury away from having to pull a redshirt.
-
Or indecent exposure which can lead to all kinds of ugly depending upon the judge.
-
If by fine you mean Pat Sweeney made UND, Grand Forks, and North Dakota look like a bunch of yokels then yep, he was fine.
-
2-1 to do what was best for UND.....nothing to do with name itself....polling numbers showed 7% of people actually against the name.......just saying
-
Sal is dead. go big red!
-
Interesting....for comparison Oklahoma State has beat Oklahoma 16% of the time. Montana State has beat Montana 32% of the time. NDSU has beat UND 41% of the time.
-
Correct. Unless it is a title 9 thing. Coaches salaries at UND should rank as follows based upon a combination of the ability to generate revenue and success. Men's Hockey Football Men's Basketball Women's Basketball Vollyball Women's Hockey
-
Maybe you could add them all up? But seriously it's apples and oranges which is why I always laugh whenever the Bison rubes try and compare the caliber of football they(and UND) plays versus UND hockey. It is a whole different level of athlete.
-
"Now I'm on a line with Claude Giroux!"..............sounds good to me!
-
Yep. Was there in 87, would have to count the games I was at(all home games, couple roadtrips....little blurry, was in college then). Columbus, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Denver, St. Paul....what was your point? I know several people who have seen alot of hockey games over the years that don't know !@#$ about the game and before you get all riled up I don't put you in that category. from what I have gathered from your posts I think you obviously do know alot about the Sioux and the game, you just seem to have a few guys you don't like for some reason and will try and twist things to fit your agenda on them.
-
when a team is outscored by 16 goals even strength plus shorties allowed, most of the guys on the team are going to be a minus which was certainly the case with Houston. As I said, Genoway was one of the top defensemen(of those who played significant games) in plus/minus.
-
Not calling Genoway a lock down defenseman by any means...but he was the leading scorer among defensemen for the Aeros by a huge margin and had the best +/- of the d-men on the team.
-
It is unfortunate that they didn't keep playing in everything except football. NDSU women's basketball which going into the transition appeared to be NDSU's strongest sport and most likely to be successful has been terrible. Not sure they have put a team on the floor since the move to d1 that could have even beat UND.....and we haven't been great.

SBoHE votes to move ahead with nickname retirement
petey23 replied to fightingsioux4life's topic in UND Nickname
I voted to allow UND to retire the name. It had absolutely nothing to do with wanting the name to go. Are you insinuating that the people who live in those counties were not smart enought to vote the same way? The funny thing is in leading up to the vote The Forum polling numbers showed(inadvertantly I would guess as they have always been anti-name) that 7% of people were actually against the name. -
Rocky was a dousche....Amy was a great coach who hated to lose.... kind of similar to our women's coach at the time who I loved but most Bison fans hated.
