I never heard anything about him not having a positive experience with coaches, teammates, and in the room....but I know his parents(most parents usually make their way to the Suite level for games) thought it would be cool to watch a games down in the lower bowl with the rest of the fans.....that experiement lasted for 1 game.

Mostly has to do with the Sioux fans annual practice of picking out 1 defenseman to put blame on for anything that goes wrong....i.e. Blood, Finley, Lee, etc.....strange enough it is usually a D-man who our coaching staff has the most confidence in and normally plays them the most minutes and also has the audacity to play on the power play and penalty kill along with logging the most minutes, especially at crunch time. Lee was a pretty solid performer at UND but maybe didn't live up to the expectations of being a first round draft pick. In fairness to fans, watching Lee was frustrating at times as he never seemed to want to make a big hit and seemed like he was more concerned with how his skating form looked and never really seemed to play with any urgency.(a lasting impression is him coasting after a puck in St. Louis when BC was shorthanded and he forgot we were on the Power Play and had our goalie pulled)

This vote has nothing to do with whether people would be in favor of keeping the name or not. We all know that would pass with 75-80% of the vote.

Using the eye test I would say the WCHA was down this year. Insert the 2010-11 Sioux or UMD teams into the league this year and they probably lose 2-3 conference games all year. I think with the departures and injuries throughout the leage this year that the biggest difference is the depth teams had. I look at teams 2nd lines this year and most of them would have been 3rd or in some caes even 4th lines last year.

Had seats in 102, row 4 seats 13-16.....was able to trade them for club level 26 on the rail seats 1-4!

Yeah. It's not like this is new. This has been going on at Marquette for 16 years now. A large portion of their crowd at their games still wears Warrior gear and they will always be known better as the Warriors than whatever name they are going by now....same thing will happen with UND whether we change our name or go without a name a good majority of people will still be referring to UND as the Fighting Sioux 20 years from now.
