In this Quinny, Minny, DU stretch, I thought we'd be 3-3 and was hoping we could sweep Quinny. *sigh* .... turnaround starts tomorrow, baby. Time to go.

I just don't know who's going to sustain play on this line. James has shown a little bit of the "getter" mentality, but not consistently. Blake, McLaughlin, and Hainer, maybe?

19-27-10 is fine, but frankly, we need Hain in a scoring role. I think Juddy should play with Jammer and Sendo. Get Hainer in with Gaber and Schmaltz.

I'm an eternal optimist for this team, but what I saw on Saturday was disconcerting. It's happened a lot this season, but was SO bad on Saturday... folding to pressure in our defensive zone. I can't even count how many times we missed the first pass or the chip out in transition to get out of the zone. It was horrendous. Turnover after turn over after turnover. Teams are recognizing (ie. Minnesota, ASU, Quinny on Saturday) that we aren't being poised enough to make that first pass with patience or chip it up the boards. It's incredibly fixable. It feels like a lack of trust and continuity to know where each other's outlet is. We saw it for glimpses against DU both nights -- when we are able to get out and get into the offensive zone, we have the puck talent to create. Still have plenty of hope because I do believe in the players in the room. Plenty of contributors who have done well in the past and plenty of new faces who know how to play the game. The pieces are there. Gotta figure it out and do it quick. We need a get right series against Miami. Two big ones coming.

Possibly our best game of the season. Boys had jump from the drop and carried play all game long. Solid possession throughout. DeRidder was great once again. He's our guy. Let him ride. Gaber did Gaber things and that was fantastic. Honestly could have had a hatty+ tonight. Judd had his best game of the season. Keep going, young man. We need you. James is primed to get real hot. He was everywhere tonight. I liked that line. Goodness, the refs wanted to be involved tonight. A couple real and dumb penalties by our boys, but some just flat out weak calls, too. WAY too many reviews. Much needed win after Vegas. Finish the weekend tomorrow. No reason Omaha should beat us if we play like we did tonight.

Yeah, I'm not really sure what it is. I think they want to be like our program, the fanbase, that is. I think it started to heat up for them when they were good and consistently hanging with us (thinking the Guentzel, Austin Ortega years). Our fanbase just didn't care lol. Just another game on the schedule.

Four of those are against teams who are going to be near the top of the PWR. ASU could find itself as a TUC. Can they cost us a bid? Sure. We know one bad game early can do that, but none of those three losses are really THAT bad. At the end of the day, get wins and we'll be fine. This is literally all this conversation, from my end, has been about. It's OVERREACTION. We're 7 games in. If this game in Vegas nips us in the butt at the end of the year, I'll eat my words. I do not think this will be a big deal.

Yep. No scholarship. He definitely made a smart decision, IMO.
