He was noticeable all weekend. Much needed. This team needs a forward or two to take that step and generate offense consistently as we have a lot of great depth, but not a lot of true finishing so far this season.

This happens every season... refs call everything tighter to try and get teams to stop with stick infractions, interference, etc. If games keep getting called as tightly as they have through four games, I'll be very surprised.

Yep. We weren't perfect. This happens. Strinden has been sound for this team throughout his career and has been solid to start the season. I don't agree that sitting one of our better players is a good way to get a team going. He's earned the cache to try to work through a poor game. Same with Liver. Homer missed a couple that he wants back, no question. "I'll take 'That's Hockey' for 500, Pat." Move out and move on to Potsdam.

Skittish, totally understandable. I've always been one to question what people are seeing when they want changes. Give me an example of what could have improved the team's performance on Saturday.

What adjustment did you not see? I keep seeing this throughout the thread. You were expecting different results, but with what? I definitely saw lineup juggling. I also saw the defensemen circling lower from the blue line. We were consistently trying to come through neutral with speed, but Minnesota played well defensively. So, what adjustments were you hoping to see? Ben Strinden should not be sitting in the stands for this team. Dude had a bad game. This happens.

From what I saw last weekend, our team will not come out flat. Feels like we have a group of guys who give effort. Execution needs to continue to improve, but effort will stand out in a series like this. UND wins 4-2 Reschny, Liver, Croal, Menghini

It's the single stupidest argument I've heard from Minny fans over the years that UND is somehow inferior because our kids are from all over. I just don't understand it and I never will. When I bring it up to logical Minny fans, they are always like, welp, never thought of it that way LOL. It's SUCH a dumb argument.
