Tough to judge a kid this early, but he's got very high potential to go very high in the draft. Feels like a classic UND player... Big, gifted, gritty, skilled.

Apparently all the coaches are out of town this week recruiting, but a couple had in-home visits yesterday and the day before.

Have others passed us? I think that's a fair question, but the game rolls on every year. This season has enormous potential and we have a helluva pipeline right now.

Did you miss the part where ZERO NCHC teams landed a recruit today? It's already been said, but it looks like a lot of these guys are holding out for official visits. I can't for the life of me see how you'd make this jump to that kind of question.

Good question! I believe an "official visit" per the standard of the NCAA, has to occur on campus, but I'm not sure. I know there are a million rules on how much contact a recruit can have with a coach, so I am not sure how that would work with a place like Vegas.

Seems like we may not see as much as a deluge of signings on Aug 1 this year as apparently a lot of these top guys are actually taking official visits this year.
