  1. I've watched every AB down the stretch and the idea that he's getting meatballs is completely asinine. He walked FIVE straight ABs Tuesday and Wednesday and ZERO were intentional and had 7 straight ABs with a 3-2 count. He hit 61 on the seventh pitch of the AB in a TIE GAME where Toronto has yet to clinch a playoff berth. If this meatball theory were a thing, you think they could have done it in a better spot? What a terrible take. What makes you suspect that he's on PEDs? If he gets popped for a test, go for the throat, by all means. But the dude is 6'7" .... he doesn't need PEDs to pop homers. Does that mean there's no chance he is on them? No, it doesn't. But, him going into a free agent year where is likely to get the biggest position player contract (heck, maybe all players) in the history of MLB, you think this would be the year he'd risk getting caught doing PEDs? I doubt it. If it comes back that he's on PEDs, fine, I get it. But, put that history behind and watch the dude do something special without hate. You have no actual clue if he's on anything, you just have a deep-seeded hate for something, I guess. When will a player ever just be good enough again? When will we move on? If you can't get behind a guy like Judge, who can you get behind? I'm enjoying the ride. Maybe you should take the tinfoil hat off and do the same.
  2. I do! Why don't you want it to happen?
  3. Apparently all non-COVID. I also heard strep.
  4. Hahaha fair enough. I appreciate your allegiance.
  5. Yep. I was trying to avoid it, but I am just having trouble with center depth.
  6. LOL do tell. Feels fairly standard with Northeastern a little higher than many polls I've seen.
  7. My prediction.... a lot of moving parts until around January. But, I'll take my shot: Getter, setter, netter... Gaber - Schmaltz - Juddy Costantini - McLaughlin - Blake/James Sendo - Jammer - Hain James/Blake - Ness - Portz Strinden Frisch - Kleven Moore - Farmer Jandric - Johnson DeRidder Helly
  8. CHN Top 10. UND at No. 5: https://www.collegehockeynews.com/news/2022/09/27_2022-23-CHN-Preseason-Top.php
  9. He was very small when he was 16. It's really that simple. I think Gaber will definitely have options after UND and could find his way into the NHL one day. He's got good feet, a really nice shot, and he works hard. If he continues to develop defensively, he could definitely be an NHLer.
  10. My guess is that he's probably trying to get the story. He's definitely done this in the past (ie: think local recruit that left UND).
  11. I'd say it's not trending well, but like SF19 said, there's definitely still time. Kid has talent.
  12. Was told that he got cut and is looking BCHL. Not super good for anyone
  13. It's the absolute worst.
  14. Schlossman said in his article it was precautionary and he'll be fine for Manitoba.
  15. We all do . I'm sure they feel the same way about us.
  16. Preseason media poll: https://nchchockey.com/news/2022/9/21/mens-ice-hockey-denver-tops-2022-23-nchc-preseason-media-poll.aspx Again seems about what I expected and pretty spot on. 1) DU (19 first-place votes) 2) UND (4) 3) UMD 4) St. Cloud 5) Western 6) CC 7) Omaha 8) Miami
  17. Good news from Judd. Take that step, buddy. We need ya. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/judd-caulfield-wins-unds-iron-man-competition 1) Juddy 2) Costantini 3) Sendo 4) Schmaltz 5) James Sounds like Hain nor Frisch did the entire Ironman.
  18. Our fanbase... we're kind of a lot to handle.
  19. I don't even like us lol.

  22. You've said it a few times on this thread, "college hockey is an upperclassman's game". We have some absolutely outstanding upperclassmen. Sprinkle in some new faces with A LOT of potential and we have a chance for a great season. But, until we see it happen, it's all just on paper.
  23. Ness was back at practice today, FYI. Apparently nothing big. Been putting in and working on systems the past week or so, so not a lot of line building. DeRidder looking sharp. Was told he's very calm in the net and very technical.
