I agree, it was mostly in jest though watching sometimes last year I wasn't sure if they were a secondary or an end zone escort service. Brown was our best corner but I don't think he ever came close to being as good as his potential, though a part of that was due to injuries. Mackey was boom or bust, his antics just drew more attention to him than he probably should have brought on himself. There is a lot of uncertainty in a position group that was questionable to begin with.

Youngstown played SDSU the week before the playoffs started and got beat considerably worse than NAU did, 42-13. Not sure how that shows they would have fared better.

Well, UND doesn't own the Alerus Center, the city does so it is not a valid comparison. So yeah, pretty much a business transaction between NDSU and the Alerus Center. UND doesn't really fit into the equation other than they are the main rent-paying tenant of the building.

Are we sure the Fargodome would be available to use? Seems like NDSU doesn't have priority for using it.

I thought NDSU had the best facilities in the country at this level? And the team was practiced outside in the cold to toughen them up?
