Speculation is fun and yes, anything can happen, but claiming 1 + 1 = potato and using that as the sole reason for why things are definitively happening deserves to be challenged.

So what you're saying they can't announce it because no decision has actually been made yet to restart football due to their still being significant hurdles to overcome, many of which they don't have the answers to and furthermore, the decision to bring back a marching band actually has no direct correlation on whether or not they restart their football program. And even if they did restart, there is no concrete plans in place for the WAC to bring back football because there are a ton of moving parts that have to align for it to work out, many of which are long-shots at this point, .

Same as this year with Drake, @NDSU and SHSU as the "non-conference" portion of the schedule.
-
The report absolutely didn't confirm they will start anything. The report also includes several huge hurdles that aren't solved yet including funding, Title IX (which is already disproportionate) and a stadium to play in. Also, Missouri St?

Here he is: https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/football/4483043-unds-warren-taylor-youtube-taught-punter-never-played-football-and-can-now Great story, hope the kid succeeds.

Correct. They knew this before they started and the staff and team was fine with the possibility. They don't want to get on the field to early and ruin it. Sounds like it is coming in very nicely, but they are being cautious with it.

Definitely. It's actually a bonus for UND they are letting them remain on the platform as there wouldn't be any good options without it. I suppose the flip side is 8 of the 11 games are Big Sky opponents, so it makes sense regardless. Of the remaining 3, I'd only expect MVSU to be broadcast on Pluto. The UW game will be on the PAC-12 network and SHSU will be on either ESPN3/WatchESPN or ESPN+.
-
Football remains on Pluto. Hopefully basketball and volleyball stay on the normal WatchESPN app and don't flip over to ESPN+.

Full disclosure: It's a $1.2 million project that needed state and federal funds allocated to cover the rest so that it would only cost the city $120K. Those other funds need to be applied for and allocated to bring the cost down to what it is for the city.

Because of his injuries, it's tough to tell what the actual struggle is. He only needs to be an average hitter in order to be a very valuable player. He still has a few years to figure out it, hopefully he can before his speed starts declining.

The game plan is set up perfectly. The execution, particularly in the secondary, will be the ultimate determination of how the game goes. The odd thing is, even though though it will be the 3rd game of the year, I'm not sure if anyone will have a good pulse on how the team is sitting due to the extremes of the first two opponents.

Schedule with Stats rankings: MSVU @Washington (#5/6 Big Boy Edition) @SHSU (#4) Idaho St @UNC Montana (#24) @Sac St. (#33) Weber St (#8) @Idaho (#31) Portland St @NAU (#29)

They just ran a month long promotion during July partnering with Valley Dairy for discounted tickets to the home opener.
-
There really isn't a ton of seating options between the 20's due to season ticket holders on one side and the student section plus a partial season ticket section on the other. My guess is that is why they don't really differentiate prices since there isn't a ton of those more desirable seats available. If you or someone else is in town, you're better off going right to the box office at the REA or Alerus Center and the cost will be much closer to that $25.

You're right on the first part, he was down 10lbs. Not sure who or what I was thinking about. But it looks like they have him down another 3 pounds from last year.
-
Bold take assuming they will actually comprehend the irony. UND has a good history picking up guys from northern Minnesota (which starts around Elk River/Andover) as it tends to be an under recruited area. Hope they can hang on to the other guys the have up there.
-
Injuries are a concern but pretty early to be writing him off as a bust.
-
Depends on the guy. I think Tank played too heavy last year and guessing the staff did too since he lost a few pounds in the offseason. Speed is a fair concern, but he isn't going to be running deep routes. Plenty fast enough to run short and intermediate routes and be a possession type receiver.
-
All-state basketball player and placed at the state meet in the long and triple jump. Not sure what there is to argue in his height or athletic ability. He knows the routes, so if he can catch and block, I don't see why he wouldn't be out there.
-
He's 6'4" and a hell of an athlete.
-
I agree 100% with all of this. Regarding the first half: Have heard good things about FD's offseason and a refocus on basketball, knocking off the rust after spending 4 years concentrating on volleyball.
-
Need to make sure to have those quality losses, wins against FBS teams and stronger FCS teams aren't as impressive.
-
I like it. Some strange, distant cousin of The U's turnover chain, but whatever get's the defense pumped up.
-
It really surprises me based on what I've seen and heard. Hopefully it that is actually the, it is due to AZ working hard and earning it over the summer and not from a lack of effort from NK (which there is no reason to think that) or it also basically means nothing. I still expect the latter to be under center the first game of the year, but guessing all 3 guys will see game action.
