  1. Definitely looks like a winnable game, as they have 3 10-pt. wins so far, two over D-II schools and one over a weak UMKC team.
  2. They sure are, alright.
  3. Thanks, and same to you. Look forward to seeing you guys in the Big Sky in the coming years!
  4. Missed from 48 and 50.
  5. Incredible. That's 4 starters now that we've lost for the season (3 on off. and 1 on def.) due to injury.
  6. Ex-Sioux Asst. Coach Moody's Benedictine team (NAIA) defeated Summit Conference member UMKC last week 74-67 in OT in an Exhibition Game @ UMKC. Congrats to Coach Moody on a solid win to start your tenure @ Benedictine.
  7. Thanks.
  8. How did you think Wilmer and the Canadian freshman looked?
  9. The screen says select the video from the selector, but I don't see a selector. Help. Thanks.
  10. Except for the BC game, Grimaldi has been out all season long with a lower body injury; he's listed as doubtful for this weekend. St. Clair still hasn't been cleared by our beloved NCAA.
  11. Totally agree.
  12. That schedule shows Wahp/Breck. as still being in the EDC.
  13. The third down pass was tipped at the line.
  14. 18-11 would be an outstanding season, considering our strength of schedule; would be more than happy with that (including a conference championship, of course).
  15. Thanks, Weberwildcat. We're all looking forward with great anticipation to being in the Sky next season!
  16. Kansas City. Many thanks.
  17. What radio station is the Sioux game on? Thanks.
  18. Please keep the updates coming. Thanks.
  19. I must admit it is nice to have a past to boast about, though. Perhaps someday you'll have one you can boast about, too.

One of the offensive linemen got hurt last night. Heard it might be Quesenberry. Any word on his condition? Didn't look good.

Sutton ran well (4.4/carry); Miller ran extremely well (7.5/carry). Bradley had a decent first game (no ints., good decision-making, very few poor throws) and his stats would have been better were it not for at least two dropped passes, including one in the end zone. I think he has a lot of upside once he settles in and gets some experience. We had too many penalties and they hurt us a lot, including costing us a touchdown. I agree that the D was much more effective when it was blitzing and we need to do a lot more of it. You can't have an effective pass defense if the quarterback has time to pitch a tent in the backfield. Overall, a satisfying win, but we need a lot of improvement as we head into the two FBS road games.

I drove up to Cedar Falls for that UNI game and am I ever glad that I did! It's one of the best college football games that I've ever seen; I think that there were 4 lead changes in the last 5 minutes. As I remember, Dressler scored the winning touchdown late in the game on a quick hitter over the middle or into the flat that went all the way (70 yds. or so?). What a game.

I, too, sense that we're a greatly improved team this year but, in reality, we're picked to finish last in the Great West and we have a fairly tough schedule, outside of the three non-DI teams and possibly Drake, so I think anything 6-5 or better will be considered a decent season, with anticipated further steps in the right direction next season as our freshmen, rfreshmen, and sophs come of age.
