  1. Looking forward to seeing the game in person. Hopefully, with our experience, we won't be intimidated by the atmosphere and will go in there and stand up to them for 40 minutes. Gotta keep Magruder and Rodriguez from having big games.
  2. Am with you on this one. There are a couple of posters on here whose only solution/reaction after any two-game losing streak in one of our major sports is "fire Muss," "fire Hak," or "fire Jones." The coach's name that goes in the blank just depends upon which season we're in. They've lost all credibility because that's basically the only input that they ever have after a two-game losing streak. And if the team in question happens to go on a winning streak, all we get from them is silence; seldom, if ever, anything positive. Sad.
  3. Looking forward to going, also.
  4. Yeah, displaying the level of success that Hanson has had this season and with the wealth of receivers returning next year, I don't think it would be too difficult to entice another 5th-year dropdown to come in for a year and compete for the starting job on a team that we expect/hope to make the playoffs, depending on the level of improvement in our defense. Also, based on the last couple years, would much prefer a dropdown to a JUCO transfer.
  5. JOOC, who's FU??
  6. SOG 11-8 Sioux.
  7. Yep; 3 lines, plus Sanderson is the extra skater.
  8. Tell the captains to take the rest of the weekend off
  9. Thanks!
  10. Anyone notice how our one recruit (Keaton Thompson) looked?
  11. Still need two tickets for both BU games Nov. 2-3. Call 816-853-5038.
  12. I believe we have a couple of clairvoyants among us.
  13. I also need two tickets for both nights of the BU series, preferably lower bowl. Please call me at 816-853-5038. Thanks.
  14. We played excellent football on both sides of the ball the 2nd and 3rd quarters and were the dominant team. Even with the two bad quarters, we still ended up leading in virtually every statistical area (1st downs, total yards, no. of plays, TOP); unfortunately, we also lead in turnovers and that can't happen against teams the calibre of Cal Poly. The two situations that hurt the most were the lost fumble on the third play of the game that otherwise would have given us a first down and, instead, gave Cal Poly a short field and allowed them to jump into an early lead; and allowing the big play immediately after we'd taken the lead in the 4th quarter, which lead shortly thereafter to Cal Poly scoring a TD and retaking the lead. Had we come up with a defensive stop on that possesion, it might have been a different outcome. If's and but's.
  15. It'll be on Big Sky TV (on-line). Quality was much better for me last week for the Sacramento St. game than it was two weeks prior for the Portland St. game.
  16. UND 27 Cal Poly 24 This one will be the nailbiter that a lot of us were expecting last week. Looking for a balanced offense this week and a continuing-to-improve defense. This one may come down to Zeb at the end.
  17. Anyone besides Haugen that's not returning? I assume that Blake is a walkon.
  18. It's scary enough the way it is!!
  19. 34-31 UND in another nailbiter to set up the Cal-Poly game, in which I think we'll play our first complete game of the season on both sides of the ball to get off to a 2-0 start in the Big Sky.
  20. Will do.
  21. And does anybody know when Kleason will be back?
  22. Anyone heard how close we are to getting Kleason back?
  23. Not a good first experience with the Big Sky feed last Sat. The screen froze once or twice every minute. Maybe the UND feed would be better. Anyone have experience with both?
