There’s nothing you could say to convince the majority here that the power play doesn’t suck. It’s been a point of contention for a while.
In my mind, if PP is above 20%, it’s sufficient enough for me.
I think they had chemistry in spurts all season. Someone just usually got injured and they had to switch things. The players on the top 2 lines right now have played the bulk of games with each other. How often did you see Gersich not with Gardner or Poganski?
Or to a lesser extent Jones without either Mismash or Kawaguchi? Jones has played with a lot of different wingers, but I’d bet his current linemates are the ones he’s played with the most. Which is why the top 2 lines work.
Bast was in the box for 2 SCSU goals, so at least share the blame here.
Considering the doom and gloom about the PP, does anyone really think we would’ve scored on that anyway?
Yes, and that was Rowe’s decision.
IMO, the only way Keane isn’t on campus in the fall is if he decided he wants to be released from that LOI and is granted that release.
He plays in all situations so his absence is noticeable. Maybe he isn’t a big scorer but he makes an impact on the ice.
Nick Jones took 28 of UND’s 59 faceoffs on Friday, and probably similar number of faceoffs on Saturday. Those two are 2 guys I do not think UND can be without for long stretches of time and expect to be successful because they do play in all situations and take the majority of the faceoffs.
Adams hasn’t done hardly anything in this entire second half.
He’s not contributing offensively, isn’t too strong defensively and doesn’t play special teams most nights. Easy to take out.
I hope I didn’t come across as snapping at you. I’ve been bothered by disrespectful comments about (and in one case to) this recruit I saw on Twitter, and it’s got me on edge.
We can make all the assumptions we want, but that doesn’t make them fact until they happen.
I guess that’s my point. I’m not going to assume anything until I see it with my own eyes. It’s premature to worry about this stuff anyway.
Well, including replacing Gornall, we are bringing in more forwards than we have leaving without an early departure... but then again we don’t have any senior D-men to graduate and we’re bringing in Tychonik but no ones freaking out about that...
