I think I saw a short videoclip of Gardner with Adams also on one of the TV station clips, but would need to view again. Agree about starting the season keeping the Jones line in tact - already know it has worked, so might as well keep going with it.

But this has been an eerily quiet offseason and an even quieter preseason, so... not just for UND, but it’s just seeemed real quiet across college hockey.

Obviously I’m just one person’s opinion, but I didn’t find myself all that impressed with Western when we played them when they were full strength. So I’m a “wait and see” with them. They have some good players but as a team sure took a lot of penalties. CC is an improved team but I’m more inclined to put them middle of the pack then top 3 at this point.

I don’t see CC or Western that high at all. I think they’ll be behind both Duluth and UND. Returning your entire roster of a bottom half team means nothing to me, if I’m being honest. I’ve seen this all before.

I just read this. I am in awe of how badly informed the writer is, and how badly researched it was. On every team in the league.

DU fans can’t handle sitting by me. They remind me of the stuck up kids in high school who act like they’re better than you. *shrugs*

CHN is not the place to go for roster/recruits. They pretty much never have it right until UND announces the official roster.

I don’t think we will ever see an incoming class made of entirely true freshmen. Berry seems to like older players and likes to have that mix.

There was no forward on the roster that was at Rocco’s level when he was here. Finding linemates for him was an ongoing issue then.

Poolman will return for his senior year unless he’s “step into the NHL” ready by the end of next year like Tucker was, IMO.

High school hockey hotbeds? High school hockey is pretty much only big in Minnesota. So I’m not sure where you would think we should be playing a destination game.

The strength of that team was the d-core, no matter what anyone else says. Not the first rounders.
