Chris Conner seems to be running away with the fan voting. With Jerred Ross, Junior Lessard, and teammate Colin Murphy rounding out the top 5 with Bochenski (currently 5th)

Other than the obvious ones like picking up chicks and drinking I thought that that fan thing was pretty funny...just can't take it seriously.

I have some rather creative remarks about how I think Chucky is running this University, but this is a family board Racial slurs and comments should not be tolerated....agreed. I don't think anyone is disputing this at all. But, to say that the student section is classless...I take offense to that as a student. What he is refering to as "inappropriate" cheers are the same ones that are used all over the country at probably every school (I bet even Cornell and Harvard ). Besides, we haven't even been that bad this year.

CSTV Hockey Schedule It appears the Feb. 13th game against CC will be televised on CSTV . Finally, they recognize there is hockey being played west of Michigan. Students: we need to be on our "best" behavior. And you know what that means..... Maybe get started on sign ideas now...give YaneA & Co. enough time to get quite a few done. Remember this is a national audience...hehehe

I've never had the signs checked twice (in the same night)...The security guard came up to forecheck and myself on Fiday and said we need to make more double meaning signs (he specified one that says " so-and-so swings both ways"...He actually requested it for next time). The kid who got slashed came to the game Saturday night with a helmet on...classic Parise played very well on Saturday (both of them). I think we just missed too many nets and too many opportunities on Saturday. I'll give DU credit though, finally figured out that if they try to skate WITH us...they get scored on at least 6 times. They reverted back to ye olde defensive clutch and grab. It got them a point.

Porter's work ethic is much better than another Chris' we had oh two years ago....hint: He plays for AA.

I love Porter...doesn't get the attention that otheres (Stafford, Murray,etc...) get, but works his a$$ off and gets the job done. I really liked having him on a line with Genoway and Bucks, with Parise being with Stafford and Murray.

Agreed. When I was a kid I always said I would go to a WCHA school...UND happened to have the best aviation program (arguably...ERAU may have something to say about it, but they're a bunch a hacks ) and a top hockey program...I was in heaven (where it's -35 and my car won't start...and there's really not a whole lot to do). If I didn't go here I'd still be a (shudder) die hard Gopher fan.

Thoughts and prayers with both families and anyone who knew them, they both sounded like great guys. I have a friend over there right now with the 101st Airborne. Hopefully he'll be able to join me in San Antonio over Spring Break

I agree with Boucher's accomplishment. Extrememly impressive. Also, the WJC team winning gold would be towards the top of hte list.
