I love it, I love it, I love it!!! I've been waiting for a situation to prove the BCS was a crock of sh*t since it's inception. Oklahoma deserves a shot. So does USC and LSU. So do 13 other D1-A teams. There needs to be a playoff. It HAS to be settled on the field, not through some damn computer. Would the Sioux be playing for a National Championship on Saturday if D2 had the BCS in place? No. It'd be UNA and Saginaw Valley (maybe). Where are those teams? Watching with the Bison at home. Upsets can happen. As for USC didn't play anybody, it's not their fault that the teams they played didn't play well all year. 4 teams that they played were preranked in the Top 25. They finished with a combined record a few games below .500. Plus, the PAC-10 isn't a very good conferece top to bottom. USC, however, didn't beat these teams...they dominated them. Margin of victory is not in the BCS equation, and it should be. Settle it on the field...A playoff is the only answer. IMHO...Oklahoma and USC should be playing.

A guy buys a new car and the radio has voice activation. All you have to do is say what you want to listen to and it automatically tunes to that station. He decides to try it out and says, "classic rock"...KQ comes on. So he says, "rap"...and B96 comes on. Suddenly someone cuts him off, and he yells, "A$$HOLE!!!"...and Sid Hartman comes on.

Actually I really don't mind the Edge. You can't really argue with girls dancing on the bar. But, I have a friend who's a bouncer at the El Roco...plus, I just think it's more fun there. Bisonfan..right now, Minnesota is a sub.500 team. Yes they've won back to back titles. They had not won one since '79 (I think) before that. Our record against Minnesota and BC this year...3-1. Who's losing to whom? And yes, Minnesota is the best hockey state...there is nothing in the NCAA rules that the team has to be fielded from the state which the school is in. Michigan and Massachusetts would probably have you know they produce quite a few quality hockey players themselves. For the 18th time...there is NO D2 hockey tournament. We're also pround of the tradition we have at D1...and we do make money, regardless.

Just to be clear...no one said we're a D1 school. Just a D1 HOCKEY school...with 7 national championships. Bison fans just hate the fact that UND won a National Championship at the Division 1 level before NDSU, in any sport. And don't think that for a second that if the NCAA DOES get stoned and listen to Bisonfan1234 and mandate that UND must be all D1 or D2, that the alumni won't be putting pressure on the AD to make the move to an all D1 school, just to keep the hockey tradition. BTW...I care about hockey too. It's the greatest game on earth.

Redwing...you heard wrong. They reopened last fall I think. Had girls from the Vu down in the Twin Cities for the grand reopening....I heard. My friends and I went there a few weeks back just so we could say we did it once...trust me, not worth it.

UND has been competing at D1 hockey since 1929. CC (D3 for other sports) since 1937. Without CC...there is no Broadmoor trophy. UND has one of the best traditions in D1 hockey. There was a national title...I believe as late as 2000 (someone can correct me)...they did away with it for a reason. Plus, no one in the D1 hockey community will let the NCAA get away with mandating UND go D2, or CC go D3. If you would have actually read my post you'd see that I acknowleged that those 7 schools were indeed listed as D2...My point was they compete at D3...nobody competes in D2 hockey. Nobody cares about wrestling...if you don't care about hockey, why do you care where UND is in the ranks (currently...number 1, Div. 1 )?
