Great win for the Bison and FCS, always good to see a decent FBS school go down in flames to little brother. Bison fans have been treated to a special group of kids these past few years, something you see once in a lifetime, pretty fortunate.

Probably would have been a good game between ND and Ohio State, but bottom line Alabama would have stomped Ohio State too so it worked out right.

Good start to the playoffs, 2 OT games and another down to the wire, going to be a lot of late nights the next couple months. The St. Louis/LA series should be a great one, I've seen a few people picking the Blues to go to the finals from the 4th seed (not that seeding is as big a deal in hockey).

It's a slippery slope, the problem there is you have 19 year olds in high school...you know the rest. I remember when the drinking age was 18 and 19 in Montana, that was a circus.

I'll give every college kid one free pass on MIP's, but as a scholarshipped athlete you have a responsibility to the school that gave you the scholarship money to keep out of trouble, and after getting one MIP those guys have to be responsible enough to do their drinking away from bars and house parties. Whether they like it or not they are held to a higher standard than the average Joe and Jane Student.

2 bombs exploded at the finish line of the Boston Marathon today and it sounds like another at the JFK Library, reporting 2 dead and 23 injured...with the number of people in a small area during sporting events it makes you wonder if they will be targeted more in the coming years by these radical types...scary thought.

I am assuming that, they like being a player in other sports and if they're serious about winning the B1G getting Gwoz would be a good start. I can't imagine they won't throw more money towards it than Maine could.

I have a feeling that budget and power might be 2 big factors in his next job, OSU could fit those qualifications pretty well.

UND should push for the BSC title next year if healthy, that plus the 3rd place finish this year despite injury issues should be enough to insure a decent raise for the 14-15 season I would think, his contract runs through 16-17 with the option year and I'd be surprised if they don't revisit it before then if he has 2 or 3 sucessful years in a row.

Next possible rumor...Gwoz to the B1G?

That would be a great tournament and attendance would blow away the current format. The only negative I could see is it would be hard to follow your team if you weren't a top 8 seed, you could in theory be on the road for 5 straight weekends, that would be hard both getting time off and financially for most people. Still I would take it over the current setup in a second.

We were going to go to MSP this weekend but scrapped it because of weather, sounds like tomorrow will be decent and then start raining/snowing Saturday night for a day or two, you guys had a pretty decent winter until March then it went to heck.
