Exactly right, every game down the stretch except the third Tech game was a close nailbiter, there was no reason to expect anything different in the tournament. And it could have ended differently if one or two of the post-ringers would have went in, but they didn't and we lost, and really deserved to lose because Yale played like they wanted it more. Doesn't feel good typing that, but it's true.

Went through the same thing with Kristo 2 years ago, he was snakebit for half a year hitting posts and defenders on every shot. We have to remember Rocco is just a freshman but to us he is the franchise because of the speed and drive he brings to the game, he's going to get more lethal steadily the longer he's here, which I hope is a long time.

But there's probably a 'Doomsday Prepper' getting ready for one.

2011 should've been the year, 2013 was lining up to be a good chance...tough losses to swallow. Outplayed Michigan badly in 2011 but couldn't put one in, hit 2 or 3 pipes in that game too, then today have a goal called off and hit 4 more pipes...starting to wonder if there is a Bambino Curse at work or something. Just draining in the end.

In all honesty I think next year will be like 2011-2012, with all the changes on defense and really wondering where the scoring is going to come from I expect next years squad to be a .500 team...hope I'm wrong and it turns out as well as it did last year when guys rallied around injuries and grew up in a hurry, but at first glance we are going to be weaker defensively and lose 2 Hobey candidates on offense, and that will be hard to replace.

Yeah that's how I feel, better wait a day or two to settle down.
