If you have a camera phone, you can take whatever image you have on your screen and take a photo of it. (turn flash off) An easy and free way to get cool Sioux images on your phone....

Nice... Lennon keeps it all a secret, telling Tim & Swyg to wait for the press release; then Mussman blurts a few hours later.

Since we started playing in the Alerus, I've noticed a lot more kids attending games than there were at Memorial. I would guess the climate control makes it easier on parents' ears and they're more likely to bring the whole family along. I'll admit it, the loud and comfortable Alerus atmosphere has been very easy to adapt to.... I'm more than used to it at this point.

Dale had a lot of nice info this morning on KFAN. Sounds like their receiving corps is awesome too, with an O-line that actually has a bit of chemistry as most are returning from last year. (9-1 season/ kept out of the playoffs by a weak schedule) Sounds like a VERY talented team to test us right out of the gate... should be a good game! Go Sioux!

What? And lose future ammunition against you? never in a million...

You really are a doorknob! Everyone knows that the rooster pheasant is the king of all ND game birds. (uhhh... you still got any land out west that I can hunt on? )

While a good idea in theory, It's my own personal opinion that a scholarship should be based on the applicant's achievements and how those achievements relate to the scholarship criteria. (which would be set up by a board of contributors of some sort, I'm guessing) Native American athlete, minority athlete, North Dakota athlete, white Iowa farm kid athlete, male or female, it's always safer to just go with the numbers when awarding someone's achievements. Again, just throwing another point of view out for discussion.

I enjoy hearing updates from Doug Leier, as I'm sure many other ND outdoor enthusiasts do. Bison Football, Sioux Hockey, and ND Outdoors will indeed make for a popular show. (with the "outdoors" portion likely having the biggest following and most passionate fans)

I have an update from my post in the Alerus Game Day thread, we purchased our tailgating spaces yesterday at the Alerus. They're ready if you want them, go get 'em. Here's my info from that post: Is I understand it, the Herald was visiting the Al today to discuss this very subject. Look for something in print soon. But if you can't wait, here's what I know: 30 bucks a spot, yes a 9' typical parking spot. After you sign up, (date to be published, I guess?) you choose your spots on the "parking lot chart." For our group, I'm guessing we'll need 4 or 5 spots, so it will end up being 120-150 bucks. This, however, is for the whole season, and your spot is reserved for the whole season. Like season tickets, except for campers, lawn chairs, and tasty libations. "Away team" tailgaters will have un-reserved spots available, I'm guessing at the south end of all the reserved spots. I don't have any real details on this, other than something will be made available. I suppose there will be some sort of nominal fee for tailgating for 1 game? I dunno. When I first heard all this, I thought WTF... but if we get all the people in our group to chip in, it will end up being 30-40 bucks for each family... an amount I can live with for the season. Oh yeah... If we host playoffs, your reserved tailgate spot will be there waiting for you with no additional fees. I'm not sure if the $5 vehicle parking goes on top of this or not, I would guess yes. Those finer points are sure to be brought to light from our fine friends at the Heraldo.

Which areas on this pic would you get rid of? For the most part, the shaded areas usually have butts in seats....

First of all, I'm not rich by any stretch of the imagination. Fighting Sioux sports is an "expense" that we deal with because it is something we love, and enjoy as a family. Like some people have a kick-ass boat, we have kick-ass tickets. That's our thing. Secondly, rewarding fans who support the Sioux year after year has its place in giving them good seats. How many season ticket supporters do you think UND would have if "all tickets except a handful for students should be up for grabs to the public not to the rich people?" Are you kidding me? If we went along with your logic, you wouldn't have to worry about sitting on the 15... there wouldn't be a program to watch.

I think he played on a line with "the kid" so maybe not... (maybe led in assists though)

I trust this post is facetious; tell me you don't really want this information. If someone working first-person with the AD would indeed air their dirty laundry on a fan site for UND athletics, there is a bigger problem in that office than what's being divulged in this thread. Right or wrong, I feel the lay-person with the second hand information can freely post "what they heard," as it incriminates no one. If we start having named officials throwing out specific examples of office trouble, we would truly be the laughing stock of college athletics.

Can you imagine the outcry from the public if they would have dropped it? Hell... KNOX & KFGO had lines lit up for weeks on the issue. It really went nuts after the "non-suspension" from Hak. To avoid public scrutiny, and a tarnished "we are afraid of UND Hockey" image, they couldn't drop the case. (no matter how stupid it was)

Cumulative Thread Info To This Point 1) Members that have proven through previous posts to be reliable and factual, have revealed information that suggests serious tension exists between various members of the coaching staff, and the Athletic Director. Out of respect for their sources, they choose not to disclose details. 2) Those same reliable posters have serious post count envy. Let it go... jeez. 3) Without the requested details, many have disregarded said tension as unproven and rumor. Others seem uncomfortable that the topic is on the board at all. (Which leads me to believe that there is indeed some substance to item 1) 4) Diggler's posts are worthless.

Walrus... thank you for sharing your info with us, I certainly appreciate it. But please tell me this: Is it a done deal? (in your opinion of course) Nothing would deflate the last NCC football season like losing Dale. I'm a Sioux fan, yes... but that would just leave a sour taste for the whole season.

	Classic.

I agree with that... without the gas tax (and the proper clout in DC), North Dakota residents would be driving on some terrible roadways. As far as the government being a representation of the people... I think we've hit the point of "in theory only."

Hold on there, Ray... I'm not saying they're right, I'm just saying what I guess they're saying if they're saying anything negative. (Oddly enough, what I've just said makes sense. Give it time)

Some have speculated that he returned from the initial injury prematurely... you can figure out the rest.
