I actually enjoyed Pat doing the play by play as he knew everything about UND sports so he had worthy tidbits thrown into the game that made it more worth watching. Dan Hammer is horrible, and I wish some day Pat will be on the tv again.

UND is still transitioning towards a new nickname, the cooling off period was still part of the transition. When Kelley announces that UND's new nickname is the XXXXX it will have met the original agreement. However if they announce there is no nickname then they are "done" transitioning towards a new nickname and since they won't have a nickname it violates the original agreement.

UND will win the game if they can run the ball, and control the clock. That was a huge problem the last couple years, too many 3 and outs and the defense did what they could to stop the other team but got too tired out from the lack of offensive production. NDSU will just have to be, NDSU. To them UND is just another team, nothing special, where UND will have to battle the team, crowd, and the media. Can't wait for Sioux UND-Bison week to enhance the hype.

I think since no other NCAA team has "no nickname" as their nickname, the NCAA will most likely come out and make a statement on it, maybe they are just waiting for this process to end and then comment on the end result if the end result is in favor of no nickname.

Yeah UND shouldn't fear the NCAA regarding nickname usage.....just look at 2005.

I predict if UND beats Wyoming, prepare for a near sellout for the Potato Bowl game against Drake. Wyoming could answer a lot of questions, so hopefully they play a near perfect game and beat the Cowboys.

Because it's the "Fargo Forum" all checks will go to NDSU, UND could blow out Wyoming and Drake, NDSU could get blown out by Montana and upset by Weber St and still get all the checks. That's why they play the game.
