Two more seasons.

The food is the only reason to make a trip there. The beer was extremely underwhelming. Tried 6 of their beers two weeks ago and none of them were good.

It probably has more to do with how he attacks those who disagree with him. If his nickname was BisonVolley he would be banned for his immature name calling and attacks.

I'm shocked to see this sentence! I never would have expected SV to attempt to push back his prediction when it's obvious it won't come true!
-
Just because one "crazy" thing happened doesn't mean every crazy prediction will happen. Had someone said the WAC would collapse and be on life-support, that wouldn't be crazy. If SV was just saying UND and some Big Sky teams will end up FBS, that's not crazy. The crazy part is the predictions and reasoning given for the teams moving up. It's crazy to think the NCAA cares so much about Idaho that they'll change a rule to allow Idaho's buddies to move up. It's crazy to now think Idaho announcing its move to FCS is only a PR stunt to gain financial support and in-turn cancel that down-move and instead invite six schools that have not publicly discussed a move to FBS in several years.

University of North Dakota Hockey 2016 - 2017 Season

It's not about pairwise rankings that change on a yearly basis. It's about committing high amounts of funding to their programs. -
What part of this answers his question about recently?

University of North Dakota Hockey 2016 - 2017 Season

When was the last UND player to be one and done? -
Looks like NMSU isn't going to Big Sky or FCS. So now Idaho has 7 other teams lined up to go FBS. Who are they SiouxVolley?
-
You've been involved with a lot of logo and graphic creation for companies? It's obvious you have no idea what a normal process is like. There is constant communication.

It's not taking pleasure in being obscure. It's taking pleasure when NDSU fans talk about how big time they are, but then ESPN still confuses them with UND. Most UND fans realize our school is obscure outside of the hockey world. NDSU fans still think everyone knows and loves Fargo and the bison.

We would have won a Natty a lot sooner!

And when there is no announcement this summer, let alone in two weeks, I'm assuming you'll stop posting this drivel?

Josh Fenton graduated from Iowa State in 2001.

I will? Thank you for speaking on my behalf, but next time please try and be accurate. Of course schools like UND should try and be FBS. It's your asinine way of them getting to FBS that I think is incorrect. It's tough to keep the moving target straight thoug . You'll have to give us a full summary on how this "PR move" by Idaho is part of the strategic master plan of the big Sky to go FBS.

Yes. She only has experience in the SoCon, then straight to a P5 conference. Does that mean the Big Sky is going to be a P5 conference too? Or are you implying that is just circumstantial?
-
The CBA says a player who is 24 on September 15 of their contract year can only be signed to a one year contract.
-
Surely with her experience, she will vault the entire Big Sky into an associate membership of the Big10 for football.
-
$$$$ Wyoming has a more pressing need to break the contracts than Idaho in '18 and '19. However, it would be mutually beneficial so they will likely reach an agreement without any sort of fee for either school. If that happens, Idaho then has nine FCS games in '18. If Penn State cancels in '19, that means 11 FCS games that year. Assume LSU is cancelling 2020, so that means they have 10 in '20. Indiana will likely cancel '21 and '22, so that means 11 in '21 and 10 in '22. It leaves them with less margin for error in FCS as it pertains to the playoffs but it also leaves them with a much bigger budget. UNI scheduled 2 FBS games in '12 and '14 as a way to make up some budgetary issues. Despite those two losses in '14, they made the playoffs with an FCS record of 9-3.

(1) It's already been shown by someone who has actually seen the contracts that Idaho doesn't have to be an FBS team to play Florida or Penn State. It does have to be against LSU, however there is the mutually agreed cancellation policy which means no penalty for any of those three games you mentioned. (2) Also untrue, unless by most you mean 5 of 16. The only ones it affects are Wyoming in 2018 & 19, Penn State in 2019, and Indiana in 2011 and 22. Or, Idaho doesn't have to pay a penalty for the Indiana games. There is the option to mutually cancel the games. However, if Idaho wants to play hardball, they could force Indiana to cancel the games unilaterally. In that case, Idaho actually makes money for not playing the games. Keep regurgitating your "facts."
-
Some of the contracts will probably be mutually agreed upon to cancel, but at this point, it's just going to be a really expensive FCS game for most teams. Here's how it breaks down for the teams Idaho is playing in each year: 2018: Fresno only has Idaho 2018: Wyoming has Idaho and Wofford 2018: Northern Illinois only has Idaho 2018: Florida only has Idaho 2019: Wyoming has Idaho and Texas St 2019: Penn St only has Idaho 2019: San Jose St only has Idaho 2020: Temple only has Idaho 2020: San Jose St only has Idaho 2020: LSU only has Idaho (Note, this game has been removed from LSU's website) 2021: Indiana only has Idaho 2022: Indiana only has Idaho 2022: Old Dominion only has Idaho 2021 or 2022: Nevada only has Idaho Looks like schedule-wise it will only affect Wyoming in 2018 and 2019, as they're the only school Idaho plays that has two FCS matchups in those years. It could also affect the Big 10 teams (Penn St and Indiana) as the conference has a rule against playing FCS teams. Those could mutually be canceled, or Idaho could collect some money in a buyout from PSU and Indiana. Every other game could stay on the schedule as is and won't have a negative scheduling impact for those teams. And yet Idaho is supposed to pay about $7 million to cancel the games?

More importantly, they want to compete on a yearly basis. Atlantic Hockey is their only chance to make the tournament. They can hold their own in one or two games vs higher competition, but over the length of a season they would be a bottom feeder consistently.
-
I told my friends on the way to Tampa... if UND wins #8, I don't care if everyone leaves. They've earned it.
-
I like the way Baylor incorporated some green into their grey's. I think white numbers would look a little off, so perhaps black with a white outline? That would be a broadcaster's and stat person's nightmare.

There is now the option for high-end athletes to "serve" by being a professional athlete and a promoter of USAFA. It's on a very limited, case by case basis however essentially someone could play in the AHL/NHL and that would be considered their service. They would have to meet certain requirements for speaking engagements, media availability and promotional work for the Academy.
