  2. W. Ill is sitting on the naked rollout
  3. Dang the announcers fake me on the 4th down play
  4. anyone notice the two down lineman on that 3rd down play... nice pressure.
  5. Nice tackle on the kickoff... let get a 3 and out.
  6. Yes, nice drive... TD.. the screen play back midfield on 3rd down was a big play
  7. UNI picks SIU inside the 10..
  8. Other scores: UNI 3 - SIU 0
  9. Wow, which person is harder to listen to the "play by play" or "color commentator".
  10. They need a shooter to step up. UND took off once Panoam came off the bench and started scoring from 3. Not sure were that is going to come from??
  11. Well growing up in South Dakota and half my friends at Vermillion and half at Brookings. They both have strong and weak points. But, both schools are a bit like commuter schools on weekends in the fall unless the football team is in town. During the winter months and spring everyone tends to stick around campus. Brookings might be slightly better but the town of Brookings is a little heavy handed with the police. They are a bit more aggressive. But, it is true both D-Days and Hobo Days are a lot of fun.
  12. I completing agree - solid O line, deep threat and Santago... that was a good team and they were hot at the end of the season.
  13. The sites of the games are kind of interesting.. it looks like they split the travel distance between the two schools.. I wonder if they will travel back after the game. No. 2 Dakota Valley vs. No. 15 Sisseton, 7 p.m. (Centerville)
  14. Yes, I remember the game.. Studsrud went down in the 3rd Q during the ISU game when UND was leading 31-15 and ISU come back to win in the 4th. UND lost the next two games without Studsrud but came back for the MSU game and UND finished out the season on a 3 game winning streak. The last game against Poly was supposed to be a play in game because Poly had 7 wins. UND destroyed them on the road. The next morning we find out a 7-4 team with a FBS win lost out to a 6-5 WIU. How, I will never understand.. After that season, I don't like any school with initials ISU and I also want to beat WIU because they have blackmail material on the playoff committee. at Wyoming Cowboys W 24-13 DRAKE W 21-18 at #2 North Dakota State L 9-34 UC DAVIS W 31-24 at #16 Portland State W 19-17 IDAHO STATE L 31-37 at Weber State L 24-25 at #19 Montana L 16-42 #19 MONTANA STATE W 44-38 NORTHERN COLORADO W 45-14 at Cal Poly W 45-21
  15. I will take any win on the road - by 1 point is fine with me.
  16. This could impact both Bismarck and Grand Forks. It is interesting that it is the Office of Budget and Management is driving this change without a director. Could the Biden administration be sending a message about Neera Tanden not being approved.
  17. What is are you guying talking about? - more details please.
  18. I like your QB.. both USD and SDSU have found really good young QBs. Next three years are going to be interesting.
  19. Did you get an answer to this yet, because it would be interesting to know?
  20. I think Gee helps keep both Skokna and Otis fresh. I like Otis getting 10 to 15 carries because he is taking a lot of punishment. Keep him fresh for the 3rd and 4th when the d is worn down. Plus its a long season.
  21. actually I always remember Santiago side stepping the D Line in the hole at Wyoming. Santiago side steps and bounces out to edge.. Both score touchdowns!!

    Yotes VS Hawks

I think I recall hearing the Yotes switched over to a 3-4 defense and I think Ill St. uses a 3-4 also. I always remember both of those teams playing the 4-3.
  23. No dog in this fight, but William Hyslop was a generous contributor to the University of North Dakota giving thousands of acres of land in Canada and the Red River Valley, stock, and millions in cash. It looks like the naming could have been tied to an addition that was completed to the structure. Hyslop was a generous contributor to the University of North Dakota. In January 1980, he gifted to the University over 4,100 acres of land in the Red River Valley appraised at $5.2 million. Previous gifts included over $153,000 in corporate stock, as well as 2,000 acres of land in the United States and Canada. Hyslop died on May 30, 1981 in Racine, Wisconsin. Upon his death, the University was the beneficiary of an additional $2 million dollars. The UND Fieldhouse and its impending addition were named in Hyslop's honor on July 17, 1981. I think the "lack"/"no"/"overdue" recognition is a bit over hyped. Mr. Pollard was in initial class for induction into the UND Hall of Fame. FYI - I also found Hajdu kind of annoying. But, I have not though about him much since he has moved on.
