What is Oct 14, 2023 and the subsequent 365 days.

Actually I think there are a number of teams that have moved to more of a 3/4 defense - one of them was YSU. I can't recall the others. But, teams are moving toward this approach because of the read option and running QBs.

We did have an O-line coach change. Wonder if he may follow?
-
Did you see the number of player from Indiana St portal entries yesterday. Makes me wonder, has the MVC turned into a 1-bid portal development league?
-
I think this might warrant a separate thread. I love the idea of a townhall. Give people of change to formula questions. And I noticed a new department sponsorship by the Airport.
-
No, about two weeks prior to the end of spring ball on the spring prospectus - they had a page for the depth chart which was empty and a note saying it will be updated on the week prior to final week of practice. I looked late last week and apparently the update was to remove the page all together.

Patty who?

Reading the article it is clear that UND was very interested to him early on and took to a long term perspective on his recruitment. It's almost I like the staff anticipated the need to replace BJ this spring. Great job by the entire staff, welcome to UND Mr. Woodson looking forward to seeing your continue development.

I was hoping that GFH would have a couple of stories this week about spring practice but I didn't see anything? Any locals (teeder) going to attend to provide some updates?
-
Opps sorry.. I added then to the list because of the recent change to the MAC copy and paste from Bowling Green. I was trying show a couple of points: 1) How far behind several schools are on funding within the NCHC. And could this drive change. 2) St. Clouds comparison the Minnesota St. 3) I like St. Thomas it will be interesting to see what the new arena does. 4) And I am interested in see Lindenwood and Augie numbers in the future.

Miami, SCSU and WMU have about 2/3rd of the average NCHC program budget. They are more aligned with CCHA programs.

Interesting, thanks for the information. I do think given Midco's track record that they will address much of what I noted. And I am looking forward to see what they come up with... I assume that they will have major changes coming out in late summer for MicoSports Plus and the Summit League Network (SLN).
-
To be honest, the Midco Plus app and site need some work. The app was very disappointing from a UX (user experience) point of view. And the app is impossible to find. I tried to get it on my Samsung Frame TV and I could not find it. But to be fair, not sure which one was worse from a UX PoV the Samsung TV app or Midco Plus. As an example here is the landing page - what? - I am at a loss for words. The search capabilities are marginal. In general it just needs a lot of work. NCHC TV isn't bad. Atleast you can do picture in picture and multiple game views.

April 1st - joke
-
8 of these are SR or GR. So, it isn't as bad as it looks from a portal standpoint.

I like what I see.... get this guy.

Maryland Heights Regional -- UND vs Mich & MSU vs WMU
FSSD replied to brianvf's topic in Men's Hockey
I am still upset with this and some ESPN meathead was defending the change in the studio - it was absolutely robbery. -
NFL has other Playoff Game this year going streaming exclusively.
-
Well, I am not see much coming out from the school either.
-
To be honest, I have no angst toward Tyree. I assume he is switching schools to be closers to home (St. Thomas). He has a young family and those things take priority. He could have very much enjoyed his time at UND and this is still a very reasonable action. I thought that he carried himself very well while wearing the Green and White. I thought that he had a great season. And his play really changed the season for UND. I again, wish him all the best and congratulate him on his new family - it is truly a blessing.

Reading between the lines, is this saying we are going to solely focus on college sports - UND/USD/SDSU and Summit League? If so, that could be a good thing for those programs.
