IMO, the defense carried the team today. They gave the offense a short field twice and scored 7 points. I was really concerned about the OLB position coming into the season. But, they have really stepped it up. They are fun to watch play right now.

I don't know what to think about this year's team. Are they 1st half Montana or 2nd half? At this point prediction. Just get us a win. I will say, it has been fun to watch the D-line and linebackers this year. They have been very active, and man has 34 stepped it up this year.

I think $15 million annually is just to compete in what is left in the MWC (without revenue sharing). It does not include revenue sharing or trying to keep up with the new Pac-12 for the playoff spot with budgets around $60m. Those numbers are easily $30 to $35 more annually plus revenue sharing. To do that they are going to need a 35,000 to 40,000 seat stadium and 8,000 to 10,000 seat arenas. Not saying it can't be done. But, I think it is fair to ask how. By the way, many had no doubt that xDSU would transition well to FCS. In fact, almost everyone called the NCC a D-I conference when it was D-II back in the day.

So, you are looking $15 m annually. You are going to need 30,000 seat stadiums to help pay for this. We are talking about Mcfeely and Dom money here.

Looking at current numbers would be misleading because most of this stuff is new and so we don't have data available to support an estimate. Plus, I am not sure how you can account for NIL money on top it. So, you have direct school expenses and then you have indirect to the school but athlete direct revenue that really plays into the overall successful of an athletic department. So, are you saying $20 million for both on the schools' books and off the schools' books to complete?

A large % of the enrollment at SCSU are high school students utilizing PSCO. Without that program things would be much worse at SCSU. Those that are familiar: Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) is an opportunity for Minnesota resident high school students in grades 10, 11 or 12, to earn dual credit for both high school and college. Most commonly, PSEO courses are delivered by the postsecondary institution (PSI) online or in person on campus.

ASU students have done a reasonable job. IMO Better than the professionals calling SCSU and UMD games.

This looks like a varsity vs JV game. So many mental mistakes by UND offense. I don't know. I think they need to switch things up at half and see what the backup can do.
