More likely Klieman goes to Washington and then our old friend Gene Taylor hires Bubba at K State. Especially if Roger Thomas asks Taylor to do that.

SDSU went to the SD Legislature and had the law changed so they could give Stig multi year contracts. They claimed it hurt recruiting, they wanted to reassure the kids that the coach would be around longer. No way does Bubba get to work to the end of his contract in 2025. He's either going to be fired or get extended just because of recruits.

If only we had hired DeBoer, then Bubba might now be the new Alabama coach.

Idaho State was 3-8 last year. I know Indiana State was an ugly win for UND, but geez we'd better win those two at least along with wins against Murray and San Diego. But I'd ink South Dakota as a loss.

For those that think Bubba is going to see the writing on the wall and retire after next year, I'm betting he won't. No way is Bubba leaving $265,000 on the table and that's what he gets for 2025 if he get fired. That's a hell of a nice early retirement gift.

I doubt anyone wants to wait 3 months until the new AD is in place. We hired Mussman with an interim AD. Would you like me to elaborate on how that turned out?

Word on the street is that NDSU is replacing their AD as well. Nothing official but seems to come from the same people that were saying a couple days ago Polasek would be the HC.
