  1. Yes. Plus my son (who is a student) has lined up at least 4 more people that need tix. I said I will buy for them during tailgating if they don't already have them.
  2. Just did $40. it was painless and took less than 2 minutes.
  3. Nodak Nation is out of tickets now. If anyone was thinking of donating more tix, now would be a good time.
  4. Thanks for the info. I will call and buy some tomorrow.
  5. I was there too. Was 14 years old and rode a bus from the KC club with my dad. I remember them carrying someone back on the bus after the game. He got a little too deep into the blackberry brandy.
  6. Tell him to stop by the tailgating lot. Should be able to get food and a beer from just about any group. Hope he has fun.
  7. He did promote the fb game during the hockey broadcast on Saturday night.
  8. I watched a lot of the UM matches in the second half of the season and wow are they good. It will be a big challenge for UND.
  9. I know we all have fools in our fanbases but he's got to be one of the worst in the country. He must really be compensating for something. Do any SU fans claim him and support his views? I haven't heard of anyone that does.
  10. Regular season records determine who gets into the playoffs. Results in playoff games determine who wins the national champion. How a team performs in the playoffs has nothing to do with whether or not they deserved to get in. That was already decided by the regular season.
  11. I just watched the last few minutes. Have they been throwing most of the time?
  12. I printed mine on Tuesday. When you select the seats and click print there is another print button that pops up in the upper right corner. You need to click that button to get them to print. I had trouble seeing that at first.
  13. Kennedy did make a point of coming down to say hi to us at Stony Brook but it probably helped that I was sitting with Steve Brekke at the time. He did seem friendly and personable.
  14. My wife and I also traveled to Stony Brook for the game and plan to go to SUU next year. I have always been disappointed at the lack of attendance/support by former players from the 80s and 90s. I just don't see them involved much other than maybe one game a year and the letterwinner golf event in the Twin Cities. I see a lot more former players from the 60s and 70s at games.
  15. I am a hockey fan too but that does nothing for me as a football fan living in MN. I would guess that a majority of our football players in the past 40 years came from MN and points east of GF also. Hockey fans in Colorado get a lot of exposure to UND hockey game locally.
  16. I do and so do my family and many of my friends.
  17. The Big Sky is growing on me but one counterpoint. I would guess our biggest alumni base outside of GF is in the Twin Cities. The Summit and MVFC make a lot more games accessible to those people. NDSU, SDSU, USD and UNI are all within 4 hours of the TC as is Sioux Falls for the Summit post season bb tourney. There are no schools in the Big Sky that are within driving distance of the TC.
  18. I just bought my 4 season tix for the playoff game. Let's fill that place up.
  19. It says they didn't have enough depth to handle the injuries they had and it's too bad they lost those first 6 games. If they had won two of them they would have deserved to be in the playoffs.
  20. Our #7 seed really helps out NDSU with their future scheduling since they said they didn't want to play us because they want to play higher ranked FCS teams OOC. One more hurdle out of the way in getting to a regular meeting if we don't end up in the same conference. There are only 6 teams ranked between us now so that narrows down the pool.
  21. Bringing 5 from the twin cities. Couldn't get up there for the VB match but cheered like hell watching on eversport.
  22. It was 82. It is my favorite game because it was the fist game I got to play in. UNO was rated #1 in the country and we won 30-8. The field was a complete swamp and the cinder track was a moat. They put down pallets on the track so we could get across to the field. My favorite other three games would be the championship game we won, the Mooney steal game when we broke the streak and the Davis game.
