Great story and brings back memories of watching him play.

Not much different even going back to the 70's and 80's. In HS I was lucky enough to be able to show up at UND practice a couple of times and have the kickers work with me. Rob Bollinger knew about kicking but the kickers did most of it on their own. Same when I was there. Lot's of work in the offseason. Maybe a kicking camp somewhere.

Sorry for your loss. I always looked forward to his opinions and input on this site.

Southwest's standard policy is that you can cancel up to 10 minutes before your flight and use the funds for up to a year from when you purchased the flight. Their change is that they are moving out the expiration date to Sept 2022. That's great for me as I have 2 different flights that I had to cancel with them.
-
Southwest is giving vouchers good through Sept 7 2022 also.

didn't say that but it is getting old. Everyone knows where everybody else stands by now It doesn't take much searching to find the guidelines for the site. If we're not going to hold to them lets get rid of 'em Don't No personal attacks, defamation, or libel No profanity or obscenity No racial, ethnic, or sexual slurs No threats or harassment No illegal activities No politics or religion

I'm old enough to remember when political discussions weren't allowed on Siouxsports.

Heard they were looking at block scheduling so can wrap up entire courses in a shorter time in case they need to shut down again. Limit the number of courses that would be impacted rather than all of them.

Unemployment numbers dropped from 14.7% to 13.3% while it was expected to go to 19%. You don't consider that 'unexpected positive news'? It's not where we need to be but is is a positive step.

some good news. jobless rate unexpectedly fell in May. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-06-05/u-s-jobless-rate-unexpectedly-fell-in-may-as-hiring-rebounded

not college related but I've heard through the grapevine that at least one large suburban MSP school has told their football coaches to not be surprised if no HS football season this year

Don't remember if I read it on here or not but I think I saw that tailgate info will go out in July.

I send you a private message. Thanks again to you and all the medical teams out there in the thick of it.

Just got the COVID test. Symptoms not standard COVID symptoms but had exposure at work to person who tested positive so Dr wanted test done. They ran out of the long swabs so got a shorter one in the nose. Hope it's as effective as the std one.

I didn't intend to accuse you of using those terms. Where I first saw it was in looking at stock markets. many articles lead with the Moderna news as a driving force today

Not sure what media are you looking for to report this. a few of the liberal publications cited here have this on the top of their web pages. Washington Post - Moderna’s coronavirus vaccine shows encouraging early results in human safety trial https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2020/05/18/coronavirus-vaccine-first-results/ New York Times - Coronavirus Live Updates: Promising Results From Early Vaccine Tests, Drug Maker Says, Rallying Wall Street https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/18/us/coronavirus-updates.html?action=click&module=Spotlight&pgtype=Homepage USA Today - Top Headlines - Stocks rebound as positive Moderna vaccine trial boosts optimism for economic recovery https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2020/05/18/dow-stocks-rebound-moderna-vaccine-boosts-optimism-recovery/5211680002/ CNN Early results from Moderna coronavirus vaccine trial show participants developed antibodies against the virus https://www.cnn.com/2020/05/18/health/coronavirus-vaccine-moderna-early-results/index.html

I hope it works out well for him. I don't know how the transfer portal works but my assumption was that you wouldn't enter the transfer portal if you were thinking of leaving a year from now. Sounds like he is interested in another year at UND. Hopefully that includes football also if that's what he wants to do.
