I am not sure what the truth is. I have seen multiple places that there was a rule change in 2013 that changed it so if under 3 seconds the spike runs out the clock - I think to take it out of the clock operators hands. NCAA Rule for Spiking the Ball Minimum time: Three seconds must be on the clock. Clock management: A legal spike stops the clock. Under three seconds: If there are fewer than three seconds on the clock, a spike is not a legal way to stop the clock. Instead, it's a normal play, and the clock will run out.

Jerry knew

Today I learned that in NCAA fb, if you spike the ball with less than 3 seconds on clock the half will run out.

Really hurts is right. what we saw with Jerry is a qb playing his second high level game. Didn’t seem to easily find the underneath, middle of the field receivers or blew their doors off with high fastballs. Better with the long ball. Too bad he didn’t get meaningful reps last year. He’d be so much farther ahead. Also need to see more Ziebarth. Especially when trying to run out the game.

I guess we should let Bubba off the hook at some point. He wasn't within 1000 miles of Missoula and 10,000 miles from making any decisions in the game.
-
agreed. we could have run an extra 2 minutes or so off the clock but snapped it with 15-25 seconds on the clock at times
-
we were credited with 6 sacks per the broadcast
-
Just looked it up. Elrichs was 14-19 last year. with 1 of those being blocked. Pretty good numbers but he's struggling this year for sure.

gotta make a play on 4th and 12. multiple times lose contain - like KState. let qb outside and make a play
-
can see why they don't lose at home. multiple borderline calls on us to keep td drive alive. last play by us - holding wr arm and wrapped around his chest holding him and nothing. Really bs
-
can see why they don't lose at home. Borderline penalties kept their last drive going. We get mugged on our last pass and nothing. Holding one arm and wrapped up around the chest. Unreal
-
and he gave the ref no option but to call it. really dumb
-
huge PAT. gets it to 2 scores again
-
poor decisions and poor play in some spots. Jerry is very good but has had a couple where he's thrown 100 mph fastballs off target. He already looks special and it'll slow down for him as he gets more game experience.

Leigh could have had first down but ran out of bounds to stop clock. Clock would have stopped on first down too.
-
FG right down the middle. Good for him

you must be new here. this qualifies as positive postings.

new TV setup with Directv and it crashed right before td

I always give the kickers the benefit of the doubt but - WOW. Wonder if we've got anybody else.
-
Shank on PAT. 6-0
-
sounds crazy loud there. great environment
-
I do want to add that I have evidence of higher expectations on my part. Our sack city sign can go up 29 or maybe 39 for each game.

I've not heard anything on why we didn't see much of Seidl on Saturday. Anybody know?
