  1. Great like those egos need feeding. The reality is UND has one of the best football schedules in the division we are just a few years into being on a level playing field as far as recruiting - having come out of transition. Really not much upside to adding FU to a schedule that is already the best in the region - no DIIs here.
  2. There are a couple of schools using Norse - not that this rules out UND using it - Luther College in Iowa is one - some out in Oregon I believe.
  3. Sorry but I would bet money they know who they want on this commitee and the names have already been chosen. Probably many of the same committee members who thought it was a good idea to go around to area businesses and ask those with Sioux in their name to change their name (it was suggested) and ask others to take down their Sioux banners and memorabilia. I say no new nickname - the concept is antiquated, let's just be North Dakota.
  4. See what happens when a University President doesn't have planning and building a new mansion to keep him busy.
  5. OMG - just admit that you had to settle this year - it's okay you just look stupider trying to put lipstick on a pig. UND announces future football games with Washington, Utah....FU announced Ferris State. We're happy with our schedule and you are obviously happy with yours.

    2013 season

I say no UND has never been a scavenger hunter - but you're probably going to earn some FU Fantasy League points on this post.
  7. And you look up to a team that includes players that steal millions from Best Buy, expose themselves to children at shopping malls, defraud every citizen of North Dakota...
  8. How many pages would there be if they weren't criminals on the team - zero. Plus this is in a community thread (non UND) and a non UND sports topic.
  9. Relax it's just a a community thread in a non-Sioux sports section
  10. Reflections on the squad car video: 1. This guys is wasting talent he belongs on the debate team. 2. He admits to the officer that the consequences of getting his second resisting arrest charges will probably mean he's done with football (guess he should have thought of that earlier in the evening). 2. Just wondering about this guy's judgement - being being drunk in downtown Fargo at 3 in the morning, choosing to go get into a fight in an alley and he already has alcohol and police issues in his past. This guy's team captain material. 3. NDSU is setting this guy up as a role model for area youth according to Travis's comments - wow - he's the best they have?
  11. Even if the charges are dropped doesn't make the charactor and integrity issues go away.
  12. Ding ding ding we have a winner
  13. Just another day in paradise - they think they're as good as Alabama and in the criminal courts they are giving them a run for their money.
  14. There were plenty of million dollar orders placed by retail outlets just before the deadline - Cennex in the Red River Valley has lots of Soiux gear.
  15. Yah good thing you and your FU buddies are here (constantly) to defend FU and share your insights and writing expertise with us.
  16. Maybe you should take the hint and go back to Bisonswille. This is definitely mild compared to the vile and evil spewing that goes on over there.
  17. You must be so proud.
  18. Okay since you are a visiting troll here I will point out that the topics are listed for each thread - this one's topic is "Eight Bison Football Players Charged". Thus bringing up anything other than the subject would be considered changing the subject.
  19. I seem to remember there were punishments issued by the team and the school which had long-range repercussions including attending sessions, harder punishments on new similar incidences (including lost scholarships) - but once again it's time to change the subject when the subject makes you uncomfortable.
  20. USD is a very driveable road game - we won't have too many of them anymore.
  21. Kinda like the "Major Gift' those su football players gave the state when they defrauded the petitions and walked away from their community service.
  22. Took me one second to find this: Flagship university" is used to refer to the first established public research university in a given state. A state’s flagship university is typically research-intensive, grants doctoral degrees, and competes in NCAA Division I athletics. Now perhaps you could start a petition to change history - if so I think you know where you can find some guys to get you the signatures and they won't even have to ask for work release.
  23. Once again change the subject - but wow what a misguided and uninformed question. UND has dozens of hockey players that are millionaires that love the school - it is announced quite often how hockey players are funding scholarships, attending fundraisers, coming back to campus and working with local kids and the current team. You are so interested in UND perhaps you should get on the mailing list for the alumni magazine then you would know. How much do you thing the petition frauds artist will give back - think they'll ever be featured in FU's alumni magainze or that they'll be invited to future FU golf tournaments - if so you better not leave your wallet in the club house.
  24. Let's get this thread back on topic: Three of the 15 people who pleaded guilty to petition fraud charges in Cass County last fall – all three of them former North Dakota State University football players – failed to complete the community service required by their probation agreements, authorities allege in court records.A fourth ex-player among the group of defendants – which at the time the charges were filed in September included 10 current Bison football players and three former players – was accused of checking in for his required community service jobs and then ditching out, once when he was supposed to be filling sandbags in Fargo. So after spending at least 4 years "studying" at FU these four "forever bison" chose to walk away from their responsibilities and throw their school, team and coach under the bus - which is what they did by making this a public issue once again. Wonder if there will be an asterisk by their name in the FU champions room.
  25. Daryl you're doing a great job of keeipng the trolls busy takes their mind on the police blotter reports, their open football schedule and the crumbling conference.
