I'm all in on "ABS" anything bug Sundog - but I question any impact a fan site can make based on a loss of credibility due to trolls and angry discussions. However as they say "The only thing evil needs to triumph is for good men to do nothing".

This helps create interest for the season but I don't see us finishing #9. I doubt coaches have time top put any real thought into this and most of the writers have no clue - there is still a Big Sky bias involved here as evidenced by the pre-season all conference selections. Plus strength of opponents in an unbalanced scheduled makes a huge difference as we have seen in the past. I see us closer to #6 or #5 - (one step at a time)

I predict the "North Dakota" option comes off the table based on a well-researched recommendation from the "Urban Dictionary" consulting firm. I can hear them "We've determined the word "north" depicts a cold barren place and the word "Dakota" depicts native american imagery."

The legacy of the trophy was that is was to be awarded to the winner of the "annual" football game between UND and SU. Times change, time to move on - I doubt there are many schools that have a travelling trophy with a school they only play once every four years with no guarantee of future match-ups. It should be given to the state historical society in Bismarck. It would be great if it could be displayed showing all the scores during the series.

Geez if they talked to our crack "Consultant" they would be starting the rebranding tomorrow. If our consultant thinks Roughrider has a double meaning that is a deal breaker what would they think of beaver....that makes me wonder how the Beavers have been able to survive all the name-calling and things being thrown at them (sarcasm).

Our tackling was much better last year - very fundamentally sound. However we were incredibly bad at third and long - it was almost unbelievable how often teams converted them. We did see much more pressure on the quarterback which will no doubt continue and just get better - part of our goal of making the opposing team's quarterback's mom the second most uncomfortable person in the building. That could be where the plays are made that change the game and give the underdog a chance - a couple of fumbles in the backfield is what we need. Can't wait to get back to the good old days of double figures in "Sack City".

Not interested in having a conversation with you or any other SU trolls as has been shared but obviously the comprehension abilities are weak - this is a site for UND fans to discuss UND sports and having trolls drop into every conversation adds nothing of value but we do realize you need to be here to feed the perpetual inferiority complex that comes from going to the #2 university in the state. .

Most normal fans of other teams do not daily frequent another team's site - unless there is something amiss - as has been pointed out it's pretty obvious these trolls have issues. Dudes get help if you are a troll and: - you find yourself drawn to this site - one of the first things you do every day is come to this site - when you aren't on this site you think about this site - you check this site several times a day - you have this site on your cell phone - you get a rise out of posting to this site Get a second job or even a first job, get out of the basement, talk to people in person. Go find some other fan site that would benefit from "the discussion and insight" you bring. Try and go a couple of days without visiting here - it will get easier - you will find more productive things to fill that time.

That would never make it in print. (To clarify while UND is the extreme underdog it has been proven time and again that when UND does defeat SU their fanatics come up with all kinds of excuses.) Even though UND leads the all time series and won a major majority of games played in the last 10 years of the rivalry - when scholarships were equal.

Uh not that I would set a toe into Bison-swille but I know I can find reference to "toe to toe" over there in many of the sports threads - this is a very tired cliche that is said by many coaches - it's not exclusive to UND but one that SU trolls love to throw out (up) whenever they can.

Wow you've been following the comments of UND fans on a UND fan site for that long and you remember that conversation - sad...just sad. Have you ever thought about how much of your life you are wasting on this site?

Here's a refresher course for putting trolls on ignore: Make sure you are logged in Click on Forums In the upper right corner click on your nickname A drop down box will open, click on "Manage Ignore Prefs" Type in all the troll names you want to ignore - you can also search for any name that has bison, SU etc in the name and add that. Click the "Hide" option in the Post column.

My money says if we left these trolls alone in here for a few days they would continue this thread and not even notice they're having their own daisy chain.

Please provide examples of any SU posts that actually focus on the game - the issue is we really don't need a bunch of trolls that feel the need to respond to every comment made here about SU - it's our thread of course we are going to want to slam SU and make positive predictions about our teams - what we don't need is constant troll postings like "trying making the playoffs" or SU chest pounders - I believe you have your own site for that. If you want to come here know you are going to read posts that are poking fun at SU or that are perhaps a bit optimistic about our teams - you don't need to respond to every one of them.
