  1. Yah I was lazy on the details but my point was no permission is necessay.
  2. http://www.inforum.com/news/3839739-fargos-sundog-interactive-und-can-use-sundog-nickname-if-it-wants Well it appears the Forum will leave no rock unturned in order to stir the waters - you would think a large media conglomerate would have a better understanding of copyright and registration laws. The headline is so misleading - UND would not need an advertising agencies "permission" to use Sundog as a university athletic program logo. This is just low-brow journalism.
  3. Yah but as we all know the asking price is seldom the selling price - just makes for news filler as it seems a story a day is their goal.
  4. I had one too - taking tower readings back in the '80s.
  5. I was at the game and saw the play. The quarterback was trying to make a play he ran out of the pocket over to the sideline. The hit came just as he released. It was not a dirty play he was inbounds. It was football played to the whistle. It got a little exaggerated because it happened in front of the MT bench and their coaches reacted.
  6. I lived in Bismarck when he was mayor he was "the people's mayor" but he really didn't have a clue.
  7. If this stooge isn't banned by the end of the day it's a very poor reflection on the Mods - nothing here but bison-swill.
  8. Come on - this rumor came from Bison-swille...get real. What if I wore a shirt with an eagle feather on it, or just the words Sioux Forever on it? Neither has anything to do with UND - that rumor is just something for the lower IQed over there to feed their inferiority complex. . In that vein, I also heard they have former football players taking names for various petitions - oh wait they don't have to leave their house to do that.
  9. Fair catches may not be exciting but a turnover on the punt receiving team is a game changer.
  10. The biggest mistake in football of any level is using the previous week's game to predict the upcoming week's game. UND was and still is an underdog in this game. The pressure on UND is to play a solid game from start to finish and be in the game, the pressure on SU is to not choke. No matter the result I think it's lost in the hype that it was Bubba that had the guts to step up and get the game(s) scheduled that says a lot about the character of Bubba and those who proved they would say and do anything to prevent it from happening.

    Drake is next.

Did anyone else not get their Champions Club card yet - I paid my dues last spring now I'm headed to Grand Forks with no card - I have contacted them a couple of times. I don't understand why they just can't develop a system where when you pay your dues you get your card within a week anytime of the year. It kinda turns it into a bad experience.
  12. I just enjoy knowing that their fan base is more nervous than our fan base about the game.

    Drake is next.

I'm certain the coaching staff will point to Montana's loss at home the week about beating the bison as an example of what can happen after a big win. Every game is going to be a struggle - you can bet Drake is going to air it out plenty on Saturday.
  14. I know Pat and you can bet the guy will be putting in lots of prep time - now he's got a tape to listen to and learn from. I listened to the entire game via Internet and I agree he needs to re-learn the importance of sharing the basics of what's happening up front - "First down", "He's going all the way", "stopped short" for example and also resetting the game more often with time, down and distance, Keeping in mind this is not his primary job I hope that UND will give him time on the job to polish his skills. He's a hard-working guy.
  15. Polls are for fans. Most that vote have no clue who they are voting for or have their intern do it. We can't even get a first team all conference player no way we get noticed enough for top 25 - doesn't matter to the team or the coaches though. Let's take care of business and be the undefeated team in Fargo.
  16. Sure is fun to poke the bi-zun, lighten up trolls we know the realities - we are still the underdog for the game and in our conference. This is our team and our fan site it's okay for us to have some fun and be optimistic - your time is better spent checking the Fargo police blotters - and crying because your team blew their chance to host Game Day in Fargo.
  17. My smart phone went bizerk when I clicked on that link and warned me about a virus. It took me 10 minutes to get away from an app it kept trying to force me to load.
  18. Geez I hope our special teams is sharp - I have a feeling it's going to come down to whoever makes the most mistakes - they are playing a lot of freshman so I like our chances.
  19. Once single game tickets are available just PM me and I will go pick them up and we'll make arrangements to meet up prior to the weekend.
  20. That is almost enough to get me to vote Hawks - but nope i'm going with Rough Riders.
  21. You can bet part of the new SU "Director of Football Recruiting" will include conducting background checks. Can bail money be included in COA?
  22. I remember Tony when he played football at UND - I don't think it will be an issue to get him to name a price for Roughriders. As the story mentions the letter was only informational it did not allude to the name not being available for use by UND.
  23. Glass houses. just sayin. Once again we are forced to ask the question what value do these posters bring to OUR fan site discussions? There have been offers to help with troll management, there have been numerous discussions on the need for better management of trolls who are obviously here just to derail discussions. Mods - you continue to lose UND posters and have them replaced with trolls. You encourage them to come here with threads like this. This should be a place where UND supporters can come and discuss UND sports and yes sometimes have some fun dissing other teams without the constant barrage of trolls. If I want to talk with SU fanatics I know where to find them under the rock called Bison-swill.
  24. It's time for the New Orlean's Saints defensive strategy - the one they used against Favre in the playoff - hint a 15 yard penalty was part of the strategy.
