They are just proud of being drunks. But, I attribute their alcoholism to problems with their views of themselves. After all, the school is judged to be on a lower academic level than the flagship school in North Dakota, which is located in Grand Forks. They probably make less money. They aren't the leaders in the state at any level, well except in tier II football. They, at least the trolls from FU that show up here, have determined that their whole life revolves around a championship tier II program that can't even afford to hang onto their coaching staff. But, if you think it's bad now, wait until next year, when their tier II championship seasons come to an end. The smart money for UND graduates is to buy up all the liquor stores you can around areas heavily concentrated with graduates of the University of Agriculture and Applied Science. I'd even hire a few of their grads. After all, they'll just be cashing in their paychecks on product! Unless they are stealing. Theft is an issue among some (Bisonation) AC grads.

After 2010-11, it's not about having the best team on the ice through the year. UND was clearly the best team. It's about hitting that stride in the tournament. Duluth did that. Make the tournament. Be ready. Anything can happen.

They can win 20 straight FCS championships. It wouldn't matter. They'll still be the Jan Brady State U of North Dakota. UND produces the academic and professional talent in this state. They produce the working slaves.

Reading the peeing matches here over the Fargo School vs. UND in recruiting, it kind of made me think of how you might recruit a potential player over the University of Agriculture and Applied Science. Without the IPF in place, I don't think you can get them with superior facilities. (That'll change.) Obviously, the tradition at the FCS level isn't there. Coaching? Well, hopefully Bubba is a salesman and can impress a young man with his credentials. Perhaps those with family ties to UND over NDSU may choose Grand Forks. The school, to me is the factor. No, I'm not going to say that UND is vastly superior to the school to the south. However, it does show up on lists as mildly superior. But, the programs offered could be the wild card for some players. We offer programs that FU does not, and vice versa. The petroleum engineering degree program could be a factor, for example. Anyway, just throwing this out there.

Naw, the University of Agriculture and Science's football will probably be the best football to ever set foot in the Alerus. That's because in about five years, UND will build a 35,000+ retractable dome stadium over Memorial Stadium and move into FBS football with an invite to MWC. That's because the MWC wishes to have the flagship university of the state in their conference. Too much of a criminal element between the fans...you know who... and the players of the Ag School. .
