Okay, that makes sense. Thanks for clueing me in! I have to admit, that as an undergrad at UND, I don't even remember who the heck my advisor was! But with U of Wyoming grad school, I keep my advisor's email email address and we give each other professional updates in our field. The dude knows his stuff and is fun to correspond with! Too liked? Well, tough crap for those other professors!

I wonder if the service aspect of the job includes advising graduate and undergraduate students? Sometimes it includes that along with service to the community, or in the case of the flagship university - the state/region/ and..or nation? Just throwing it out there. Perhaps if she was advising students, they may have went to the dean and argued for her retainment?

The folks at FU have been talking about the "it" factor with a coach. Admittedly, Bohl has the "it" factor. Kind of a leadership/knowledge/ability/etc. all wrapped into one. That won't show up with the HR department. Let's hope they don't handcuff our AD by taking those resumes of the coaches with the "it" factor from getting his desk.

I don't know. That job may be too challenging for a graduate of the University of Agriculture and Applied Science. Perhaps some other job in the taxi company. The world needs someone to wash those cabs!

Also, what if takes the HC job and then he can't duplicate the success of Bohl AND Bohl does not (God forbid) turn Wyoming around? That could shut him down from moving up to FBS from the University of Agriculture and Applied Science.
