  1. More respect for Lucia. Now, let's smoke those Canadians!
  2. And, if you see a "307" area code on your caller ID, pick it up immediately!
  3. That UMass situation is pathetic. Poor planning. You know what they should do? Hire what's left of the FU coaching staff!
  4. I agree. Michigan is a much more well known program. App State went there and beat the #5 ranked FBS program, one that went on to win the Citrus Bowl over Tim Tebow's #9 Florida Gators. The FU win over K-State was an accomplishment, but not as big of one as App State, which is better known for good reason. App State is now moving to FBS. If FU gets a good coach and keeps winning titles, App State might end up buying their coaching staff. FU: feeder program to the big boys.
  5. You bet. Just leave your bank account information here, and we'll forward it to our Nigerian friends who will be happy to ship one to you!
  6. Absolutely. He couldn't wait to sign for the big $$$ and go to a program on its way up. That's one captain that didn't stick around to go down with the ship.
  7. Dude is just pissed that Bohl is going to steal all the recruits that can play at the FBS level. They're following the coach. To a better program and a better school. Where they don't use the beginner level settings and then yell, "Yay, we're winning!"
  8. Obviously, as both a UND and Wyoming fan, I hope that Bohl is successful at Wyoming. But, there is a weird "tradition" at UW for coaches that succeed. They get bought out and move onto major schools. Devaney and Solich were Wyoming coaches before the Cornhuskers signed them. Would not surprise me if in about three years Bohl goes to Nebraska to close out his coaching career.
  9. Check the schedule of the University of Agriculture and Applied Science's football team. Nope. They forgot to cherry pick Wyoming again! Damn! Hey, try Madden on Playstation at a higher level. Go for it! Don't hide at D-II all your life, boy!
  10. As opposed to hiding at the D-II level and playing NE West Texas A&M Technical University in the D-II playoffs? You must be some kid who sits in his parent's basement with his Playstation, playing Madden football at the easiest level, scoring every time and thinking, "Man, I am awesome at this game! I'm the best!" In reality, you suck at it. But, nobody has bothered to point it out. Until now.
  11. Yeah, this year. But, the subdivision football program at the University of Agriculture and Applied Science forgot to cherry pick Wyoming this year. Next year, not so much...or the following years. Or the previous years...like when they played a crappy Wyoming team under Joe Glenn and lost.
  12. Wyoming has better facilities than the College of Home Economics at the University of Agriculture and Applied Science. They have a very nice IPF, etc... All on the east side of the campus. But, since you've probably never left Fargo, except maybe the occasional trip to K-Mart in Moorhead, you'll never know. Bohl left because it was his best shot at going FBS. Where subdivision championships are not considered "tradition" with state universities, but the coward's way out of playing with the big boys. The flagship school in North Dakota, the University of North Dakota, and the land grant technical training program in Fargo are playing at the right level of sports...finally! But, don't let winning at the FCS level fool you. FBS schools, even low rung programs like Wyoming are a whole different level. One win a year against FBS schools, usually those in dire straights, makes an impression to the point where an FBS program, with power, money and tradition, will scoop up those responsible and leave the FCS program scrambling for new leadership. But, it's still only one win a year. The only one that is impressive to me is this year, the win against Kansas State. But even that win I kind of question. Two brand new QB's at K-State learning a new system against what is arguably the best FCS team ever, FU fresh off another national championship with their kinks well worked out.. I'd take K-State in the rematch of the same teams now. Bottom line is Wyoming bought Bohl. Because Wyoming has spent decades playing at the highest level and building their program and tradition. They've played and beaten the big boys. Oh, they've lost their share. But, always at the highest level year in and year out. While FU and even UND have hidden at the D-II level. Money and tradition talks. Gene Taylor takes a walk.
  13. You're really no good at this, are you. (Note the lack of a question mark.)
  14. I wish they were there too. But, I gotta have my fun! I hope in the future they play in a real football stadium. That's kinda weak having it at the FC Dallas stadium.
  15. He'll get paid at least 2 1/2 times what he gets at the University of Agriculture and Applied Science...if not more. Unless you cipher like the rest of the AC scholars, that is a lot more. Most people, at least the ones who don't take pride in out-drinking the other team's fans, would consider that a much better job. Now, plan your trip to the soccer stadium. Doesn't Chivas play there next week?
  16. You got that right. Plus, he doesn't even know that Smith left the Cowboys to go to the NFL draft and Thompson is a redshirt sophomore that will take over under Bohl next year. . He calls them recruits. That was one of the stupidest things I've read on the internet today! And, I've read Lakesbison!
  17. More on Brett Smith. Dude could rack up the TDs and Yards... Set a record against Nebraska. http://trib.com/spor...47372d0a7c.html Looks like Bohl may have tried to keep him. He seems to have made a trip to Oregon to talk with him. While there, he may have skipped up to Washington state to spend time with the upcoming QB, Jason Thompson Gee, I thought his priority was getting the University of Ag and Science prepared for the soccer field game? “I’m so thankful to have played with such great guys over the past three years. I have so much respect for Coach (Craig) Bohl and know that we will be very successful at Wyoming. I appreciate him coming out and meeting with me and my family this past weekend and talking with us about his vision for the future of Cowboy football."
  18. Oh, well. The Pokes have a guy with a strong arm in the wings. Fresh start for him and Bohl. Smith should go in the second or third round. He can rack up the yards and is a project. But, the NFL is a QB's league, and he's worth the effort for a team.
  19. It would be fun to see the Border War to have more meaning than just the rival game. I cheer CSU also..did some undergrad work there. I am more ambivalent about CU. I just watched some of Bubba's introduction. I'm over my initial disagreement. He could be good. It's also nice to see a North Dakota guy in charge. I never realized he was from Zeeland. Hey, that German Russian grub is good down there! No wonder he's such a hefty dude!
  20. Rocky Mt. National Park isn't too far away. Snowy Range in Wyoming is just west of Laramie. Good holiday vacation!
  21. When FU kicks the extra point in that soccer stadium, does it have to go in the goal or over it?
  22. He took the money. He took the assistants. Now, he's cherry picking the recruits!
  23. Laramie is a nice town. (No BestBuy!) Not far from Denver. Plus, he can get away from the lunatic fringe fans of the University of Agriculture and Applied Science!
