I'm a die hard Sioux fan and I don't agree that it's a farce. I think there is plenty of scientific evidence that shows that there is something to the theory of global warming. But, I'm not here to debate this. I only come here to show support and discuss Sioux sports. My point: Don't lump us all together pal.

I'm resigned to the idea of a name change. And no, we can't just have "North Dakota" and nothing else. I just don't see anything here that excites me. Need to brainstorm and get some more possibilities out there!

Yeah, the CCHA slammed the door on UAH. I'm glad UND is moving into this new conference. But, I'd love to see UAH move into the WCHA and slam the door on the CCHA. Or, as Virg Foss once called them, years ago when then perennial doormats Michigan State, Michigan and Notre Dame left the WCHA, the Can't Cut it Hockey Association!

I don't know if anybody has posted this yet, but I'll bet the CCHA will be kissing Alabama - Huntsville's @ss very, very soon!

Carlson and his pals can have their meeting with the NCAA. The NCAA will say, "Nope. It's our way or the highway". End game. Then, let's retire it and move on. I've never publicly said throw in the towel before. I love the Fighting Sioux name. But, it's over. Time to get our teams in the Big Sky without any further delay. Time to let the hockey teams move on to a new WCHA or some super-dooper conference with the Big Ten without any worry of problems there. We'll always wear our Fighting Sioux gear to the games. We'll always yell "Sioux" at the end of the national anthem. When I"m 90 and only one of a few wearing the Fighting Sioux gear and croaking out "Sioux" at the end of our national anthem, maybe I'll be lucky enough to be so frickin' senile that I'll imagine I"m back at the old REA and Gino is coaching the '82 team and Darren Jensen is in goal.

Naw, I think the voters mistook NDSU for UND. All those votes NDSU had should have went to UND. Rightfully, the Sioux should be ranked #8!

Oh, those Bison fans know that without possession of the Nickel Trophy, their program is totally meaningless.

Isn't it good to see that the hatred between NDSU and UND is alive and flourishing despite the fact that we haven't played each other in years! This is proof alone that the game needs to continue. We need to dust off that Nickel Trophy and let the Dundering Turd have a crack at it!
